I so TOTALLY have a Cradle

The Cradle is formed when four planets are connected by three sextile aspects, two trine aspects and one opposition. It is also called a Half-Hexagon because it looks like one-half of a Grand Hexagon (Grand Sextile) configuration. The Cradle is similar in energy to the Grand Sextile.
It will be in either Receptive of masculine (Fire and Air) or feminine (Earth and Water).
I have boy cradle...it's blue.
The Cradle energies are not as self-contained as the Grand Sextile. The Cradle lacks the continuity of the polarities and modes, to balance and harmonize with the two center planets. The planets in the opposition set the dominant mode (cardinal, fixed or mutable) while the other two planets tag along as step siblings from the other two modes.
Also, like the Grand Sextile, the Cradle provides a type of mixed blessing to the individual who has one in their chart. The Cradle provides potential at an inspired and congruent level when the individual learns how to blend the three mode energies. On the other hand, it tends to lack determination or may disperse the energies across the four areas of the individual's life based on the house placements.
Like the Grand Sextile, the masculine will incline the individual to react with active drive and an independent attitude, lending an extrovert tendency to the individual.
The feminine will incline the individual to react more passively with a communal attitude, lending an introvert tendency to the individual.
The Cradle individual must work more diligently at developing discipline, patience, ambition and endurance if they are ever to master the energies of the Cradle. When the Grand Sextile is triggered, the individual tends to scatter their energies rather than consciously collect these energies into a unified force and miss out on many potentials and opportunities attainable through the Cradle's influence.

point? ok the opposition of my cradle is between aries and libra and ffs, if this isn't the most true sh*t evah! i'm very decisive but if given a modicum of time to weigh a decision, i become very indecisive. the libra in me must weigh every single option, every possible avenue whereas the aries has made up his mind a looooooooong time ago.
ie, when i play chess, where most people look 2-3 moves ahead, i have to examine how EVERY piece on the board can move and how it will impact me 2-3 moves ahead. and where all this weighing makes me a good chess player, it's very time consuming...not to mention, i usually go with what my initial move (aries) would've been anyway.
with that said, i typically only win when i balance both energies...the first game. the first time around i'm weighing more and the goal is to win (aries). the second time around, aries is bored, and libra is tired so i get more careless and don't think through my actions as much.
point being, when i'm actively balancing both energies, i typically do very well in all aspects of life. when i'm not, things go to poop. so this...

The Cradle individual must work more diligently at developing discipline, patience, ambition and endurance if they are ever to master the energies of the Cradle. is very true with respect to me.
AWESOME!
I want to thank you, PiscVirgAquaFish, for posting the Moon(square)Mercury section.
So, I can blame my feeling of stuckness on that? "This rarely transfers into action."
I've known for a long time about my Moon being square my Sun and Mercury. But didn't give it a whole lot of thought. I need to take action on certain things, and not stay in the "stuck" mode.
I need a new way of thinking about it, I guess.

My cradle includes Virgo, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aquarius. Despite having Virgo in the cradle, I would say my cradle is masculine, since it is mostly air, and the Virgo in my chart may function more like Leo in the sextile aspect.
FYI for those who are astrologically challenged like moi, here is an image of what a cradle looks like in a chart:

This is how it looks in my natal chart:

Mine is, too-- Neptune (Sag), Pluto (Libra), Mercury (LEO), Saturn (Aquarius).
Idk what the heck it means, though. Big Grin
The Saturn and Mercury opposition also serve as the bottom points of a T-Square that is topped off by Mars-- the missing leg conjuncts 7th cusp Scorp.
*sigh*
THANK You, PVAF-- very nice!
This will keep me occupied for some time. Tongue
My love has at least one (counting with P.Fortune and Vertex):
P. Fortune(Aries), Vertex(Libra), Moon(Sagittarius), Venus(Aquarius)
