A good statistical way to get a "feel" for a zodiac sign's character

Go to Google search, type (sign name) +" eminent personalities"

it will list about a dozen of personalities of the given sign

pretty good to get a quick sniff of what a sign is like

I made the test for pisces and virgo and it's very instructive, destroys the usual pisces cat-lady cliches of "martyr and generous" and opens new tracks. Some of these celebrities' similarities will jump out pretty obviously.

Lady Gaga, Leonardo Da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Maya Angelou...Aries does not get enough credit for our creative (and revolutionary) brilliance.
Da Vinci is a Taurus. 😉

The difference between Julian Calendar (which was used at that time) and Gregorian Calendar which we use now has to be taken into account. At 1452 the difference is 9 days, so this finally gives us April 23, 1452 as the birth data of Da Vinci that astrologers use – which is Taurus. He is barely a cusper.

But it's not the sun sign that matters. His moon is in Pisces and his ascendant is conjunct Pallas. Two strong indicators of brilliance already.

What I've noticed, hydorah, is that an overwhelming percentage of the most brilliant minds have an Aries Mercury and despite that have their suns most commonly placed in the signs adjacent to Aries. The weirdest part is that traditional astrology not only completely refuses to acknowledge that statistical abnormality, but it depicts Aries Mercury natives as quick minded brutes at best.

Da Vinci was born April 15, 1452

I have a Pisces moon, so I still claim him.

Oh, and let's add Raphael and my man Robert Frost.

Art takes bravery and the drive for truth - even if it goes against the majority consensus. Aries plays a major role in that, but it's underestimated by the obvious thinkers, in my opinion.

Hate repeating myself.

Why are you tight?

My point still stands. Aries homes many innovators, Da Vinci included.

I'm not arguing about Aries homing many innovators. You're the tight one to even assume that. Da Vinci is still a Taurus.

I'm not the one insecure enough to make it apparent that a list of eminent people born under the same sun sign is causing me euphoria. In this conversation, I'm simply the one pointing out to you a common mistake. But your Aries ego is too fragile to cope with someone reducing your list by ONE. LOL So instead of addressing my argument reasonably you simply repeat the same thing over and over like a broken record. He is still a Taurus and I stated my reasons why which you're still deflecting.

i always looked up to my first love who is an Aries. i met him when i was 15 or 16 and even tho he was only a year older, he was so smart, eager and confident, i looked up to him and learned a lot from him. in a way, i miss the dynamic of our relationship bc i want a partner who i can look up to, mentor me almost, and he did that. it's funny bc he's born in the week of the child, which i get along famously with people born that week, and I'm born in the week of the teacher. only in our adulthood have the roles switched a bit. we have always used our intelligence as a way to fuel each other. a healthy competitiveness if you will... I always said he could design a car from the inside out! he graduated from our private college with a double major in Physics and Fine Art ❤ i wonder where he'd be had he not gotten his head injury at such a pivotal time in our lives...

he's actually going to divorce his wife after desperately trying to work on it with her. life is weird and time is a joke...
