Any venus in cancer natives out there?

So I'm dealing w/ an individual who has this placement, and I'm just wondering how you guys operate. My venus is in a fire sign, so I'm on the opposite of the spectrum. He also has mars in scorpio, so any experience w/ either placement shared would help me get into his head a bit better

Just generally wondering how you guys are when you like someone, how you are in relationships, etc. Mainly how you express romantic feelings and your approach to love. I'm asking bc I just want a rounded understanding; most of the venus placements of people I've dealt w/ before are in earth signs, aside from one venus in aqua. Another thing I'd like to know is the loyalty of individuals w/ this placement ?
Okay...the thing is that aspects and house placements come into play with Venus so nothing I say can really be taken to be true for the person you're currently seeing. Just being upfront there.

Most of us are pretty clingy and strive for stability in a relationship. Personally I'm quick to flee at the first sight of trouble. I like things to be safe and easy to take control of. If there's a chance I might get the lower end of a situation I much rather just avoid it all together. I'm a sucker for beauty and romance though. I find myself extremely attracted to a very motherly type of woman. I don't want to offend anyone but I'm super attracted to the basic type of housewife. If your too much I'll run away, but if you're too little I'll get board and still run. Think of it like an actual crab. You don't want to run up to it too fast or it will run, but if you're too slow it will still run off just the same. Just go easy and feel conformable, and they likely will too. Any Cancer placement gets huge vibes and influence from the things around it.

Posted by SoulThat's actually a very interesting perspective. I'm not necessarily a housewife, but I am extremely caring and nurturing. He loves the fact that I balance how sweet and taunting/playful I can be. He isn't super clingy... at least yet. That may change though ?

Edit: Reading Souls response I'd say he's more classic Venus in cancer than I am, I think my venus square uranus really has an impact here.

It's said during this aspect you'll meet someone older to have some sort of amorous dynamic w/, and we have quite an age gap. Checked his progressed chart, and his venus is sextile/trine jupiter, where it's said to find someone who is very cultured and appreciative of arts/all around aesthetic. Guess what? I don't necessarily only stick to flings, I need passion and intensity (aries dominant and scorpio moon), but at the same time I'm not too keen on relationships SMOTHERED in romance. Okay...the thing is that aspects and house placements come into play with Venus so nothing I say can really be taken to be true for the person you're currently seeing. Just being upfront there.
When I like someone, typically, I wait a bit before asking them out. I try to see if there's a chance that my feelings will be reciprocated before seeking anything more because I prefer long term relationships to flings...even when I've had flings they've ended up becoming long term lol.
I'm really not a verbal person when it comes to romantic expressions, I don't do pet names and I don't really say 'I love you.' all that often. I express my feelings via random gifts, travelling, putting my partners as a top priority, and just spending time together.
As to loyalty, I wouldn't say I'm the most loyal person out there...I've blindsided most of my partners when I break up with them. I usually pursue another relationship shortly after I end things, I've never cheated but ya know...wandering eye.
You might want to also look into his Mars placement btw. But yeah, Venus in cancer is more romantic and conservative than passionate and intense.
Edit: Reading Souls response I'd say he's more classic Venus in cancer than I am, I think my venus square uranus really has an impact here.
It's the coolest thing to see how the universe works out.
