hell, why not jupiter virgo as well. My ex had jupiter virgo. (the dominant virgo ex i had, although he was a pisces/aries cusp)

I don't believe that I am cheap...But my son called me cheap the other day, and it's been on my mind ever since....(Shrugs Shoulders).
Also, I mentioned Virgos, because all the virgos that I know, are cheap...And was thinking that maybe I appear that way to others...(Virgo rising).

Yes Virgos are cheap lol. Out of all three earth signs, Virgos are the most funny(humorous) when it comes to money. Im not laughing at them, just their logic on finances. Take cars for example. Caps will get a used car(the same color as the last three they had) and will scoff at the idea of buying a new one but yet will get the most expensive used vehicle. You saved money but its still expensive and the money you saved youll spend on upkeep. Virgos are the same except they get the cheaper vehicle thats practical...but is close to being zero when they trade it in...on another used vehicle. Tauruses come out ahead to me because they realize you only live once. Theyll buy the new car after theyve worked their asses off to get it. They know that if youre going to flip a car note, you might as well get something youll want and enjoy, is less likely to break down after you just got it, and is worth something on trade in and nobody has driven it yet...its called living. Lol

guess i'll share before heading to bed,
my sister's man (virgo sun) with leo mars dominant air...he books her weekend trips every month or every other month to France, Spain, or Greece, wherever. He just loves to spoil the hell out of her.
so there.
my husband works way too much to spoil me like that, BUT he spoils me in many other ways. Plus i dont like traveling like my sister does. different types of "spoiling"...
The ones I know are actually pretty big spenders. These are the Suns. Idk about the Virgo risers tho.
With me I am cheap with myself because I know I can live within my mean. With my partners...the sky is the limit. I put Venus in leo spenders to shame.

Imo, cars lose their value from the moment you buy them...like literally the first second.
I can drive the same car all my life.
If they are close to you they may say "You shouldnt buy this, you have it cheaper". And on and on with this until is forgotten.
But its a paradox, because usually expensive means more perfect stuff, so virgo aims perfection but seems like some of them aim it to "cheapest perfection".

to be totally honest with you all, as a virgo ascendant yes i can be cheap. and stingy too. yes stingy. i'm not good at saving money. every dime i get the supermarket is the first place you'll more than likely to see me, buying food for me and my family. i tries very hard to not spend too much on something thats expensive. if its out of my price range, i strickly by pass it. i try to go the cheap route. yeah thats how cheap i am. the only VERY expensive items i own are guitars and jewelery. and thats not including my truck.

also wanna add. I find people who constantly spends money on expensive things are not a wise spender. I would not even spend thousands of dollars on a woman just to please and satisfy her. she gone take what I give her and be happy or don't take it at all. as a virgo rising, I dress in simple attire. not fancy or cute. yeah some of my clothing came from flea markets and dollar stores and i'm still happy. i don't dress to impress.
so the answer to the question, are virgos cheap? the answer is straight up YES.

I notice if you have Sagittarius in your chart, there's an ungodly amount of luck. So you're just super lucky and you're venus dominant anyway -- being a libra sun and libra venus. venus is lucky.

For example, when I moved last year, I bought everything I wanted for my place that I ever wanted and I saved to buy and had plenty left over. One item in particular, a Simple Human trash can, costs $ 200. I saw it, I wanted it, and I bought it without thinking or feeling guilty. When he saw it and I told him how much, he scoffed and thought I was crazy. So I said, realistically yeah, its a splurge but let's look at it practically. Its stainless steel. If I take care of this trash can and maintain it, it would theoretically last me a lifetime. Thus by spending the money up front, I won't be spending more money having to buy new trash cans and that leads to an increase in purchases of trash bags...and trash bags aren't cheap. Then add in the cost of has to buy a new trash can lol. Then I hit him with the time value of money formula. I can save the money now, but that dollar will have less purchasing power in the future. So those future trash cans will actually cost you more along with the bags costing more. His response? "I knew you'd say that" lol.
He also has only bought used cars. He bought a 2012 Nissan Maxima shortly after he got promoted last year...which I had to come boost three weeks after he bought it because the battery went dead and the little booster pack didn't work_??? I love him though...that's my brother!

@bigcarlos, my ex pisces/aries cusp was a virgo pluto generation, and with virgo jupiter, and lots of virgo energy -- and believe me, he was ALSO into dressing nice. NO flea markets for him either. So if you're trying to figure out if it's the pluto virgo or the pluto libra, then NO, it doesn't make a difference in this case. Because, as with my virgo pluto ex, he was a leo rising. and i only go for virgo plutos and libra pluto men in my few experiences. Pluto Leo is too old, and pluto scorpio is too young.

Interesting. While I have heard a great deal about Sagittarius' connected with luck; I've never been exposed to any theories correlating Venus with good fortune & hadn't previously thought of Libra- or Taurus-influenced folks as particularly lucky.
But what I'm curious about is, what does luck have to do with someone harboring an unrealistically stingy attitude toward money? Now, I can imagine having luck on your side, or the mere belief that one does, could inspire gambling & financial risk-taking...but does the inverse apply for cheapskates, in your opinion?click to expand
i have no idea. I just don't like cheap asses. I can be cheap myself, but my ex's (my husband) cannot be cheap asses. I'm the only one that is required to be a cheap ass. lmao!!

Yup, cheap and practical when it comes to certain things... like when I have no money -_-... but being an Aries I will never hesitate to give the shirt off my back for the people I love.
