Do You Think Astrology Should Be Taught To Kids (Teens) Growing Up Possibly Like An Elective In Highschool lol?
Ive talked about this before and people made some good points on the subject and the conclusion I came up with was I don't think it should be taught as an elective because there is no substantial scientific evidence that backs its merits but should it have a presence in the classroom and be used as a tool that puts children on the path to their own self discovery, enlightenment and inspiration then hell to fucking yes.
My biggest problem growing up was seeing all the colours of the rainbow, I couldn't fixate on the basic black and white curriculum that was being shoved down my throat daily and at the age I was it made me hate hate hate school and I ended up leaving in yr 9 to work, now that Ive worked and I have a bad back I am currently back at school trying to obtain my high school certificate so I can go to uni and study to become an awesome fucking Steiner school teacher because all I want to do with my life up until 70 is inspire kids and develop more academically, spiritually, emotionally whatever??_..My classroom will basically be Hogwarts and my students will be future ecological scientists, engineers, architects, writers, actors and physicists with imaginations that expand far beyond space and into different dimensions.

Fuck no. Have you seen the quacks that are into astrology? Just take a look around this place. Don't do that to the kids, man.
Seriously, though, while I do think it can be a good tool for some, it's not for everybody. It can definitely help when it comes to going through certain things in life and trying to understand that part of yourself better, but some people don't know that there are limits, and reading too deeply into anything can be unhealthy. So, my vote is no.

yeah. i find that astrology IS a responsibility. So they'd have to be older to understand.
people already misuse eachother in the world, and hurt each other, and they could use it against one another. Plus, when they're older, as they reach the age of adulthood....they can try and understand why their mate or their family members ect are the way they are?
even in the teen years is good, so they can get a good grasp of understanding. But it is a huge responsibility. Because there's people out there that will get their feelings hurt if there are cruel people trying to misuse it. You have to admit, there ARE cruel people in the world, just alone by looking at the world wars and even looking at crimes alone.
Absolutely not. It creates an unfounded bias in everyone you meet. Look at all of us. We are all nuts and I mean it. We argue with each other yet have never met. We call each other names. Quite a few of us are bullies. We won't date certain people based on when they were born and they had nothing to do with it.
No.
They should try mastering reading, writing, and math before they tackle the stars (which amounts to a load of manure anyway -- mostly.)
No. No scientific evidence (means it's not helpful in the real world except as a hobby. Would make more sense for there to be an Astrology Club, rather than a class) and it puts labels on people which is generally not a positive thing to do. I don't think that astrology would be a positive or helpful thing to teach kids.
No.
1. No scientific evidence
2. unfounded bias in everyone
3. kids might get bullied for having butter aspects
Besides Astrology is not precise. It talks about tendencies. Like when the gypsy woman say "I see there's this woman coming into your life". Which woman please? Another example: is Pisces lazy or dreaming right now? Or maybe charging battery after they dissolved themselves in another person's life?
And after you learned it can you say at any given time which sign or aspect in you is currently acting?
