I am so bummed I cannot go this year, I cannot get out of school. Has anyone attended— I want to hear your story.

No, I have never been. I was actually making plans to meet a friend from college there. He lived in San Francisco and we were going to meet up. He died three and half weeks ago of a heart attack out of the blue. So a lot has happened. It was going to be our reunion. 😢 I also could not get out of school. I am sad because we had not seen each other since 1991 and we had just recently connected on facebook. He was an amazing person ...kinda like me a wandering soul flying by the seat of our pants. I will miss him.

So needless to say I will definately make plans to go next year. Tickets go on sale around December for the following event. I would love to get a group of people togther.

What about you Ian, do you plan to go— That would be wild time to meet a bunch of DXP peeps there. From the looks of it ....not many know what Burning Man is though.

PP I'm scared of puppets too. They creep me out. I also don't like people in costumes. Seseme Street freaked me the hell out when I was a kid as did Santa Clause. The idea of a fat man sneaking into my house and eating cookies terrified me. Even if ole dude was bringing me presents.
Ditto on dolls. I never ever had one. Creepy mofos.

KC is actually a really nice city too. We have the national WWI museum for all those history buffs. We just went down there last month. It was pretty cool to see.
Our Power and Light District is where it's at. All the trendy bars are there. There's also a PBR bar (ProBullRiding) any one up for machanical bull riding? Yeehaw!!
KC has the most fountains in it then any other city in America. It's a pretty cool place 🙂

Clowns.... OMG clowns. I'm terrified of them.

I'm a strange bird. It's just that people with a mask or a costume in character especially pandering to children creep me out.

LOL PP 😛 Seriously I use to lay in bed Christmas Eve night and think "That mofo is downstairs sneaking around my house right about now". It gave me the willies. I never slept very well on Christmas Eve until my parents fianlly tired of my paranoia told me "The Truth".

LOL A friend of mine asked me to watch that with her one night while her hubby was out of town. I didn't want to fess up that dolls scare the shit out of me so I sucked it up and watched it with her. FUUUUUUCK THAT!

I was paranoid for weeks after that movie. I wouldn't even close my eyes in the shower because I thought that damn clown doll was gonna get me!!! I was a jumpy little turd for weeks!! Screw my pride next time. I'll just say NO to any scary movie with killer dolls in it.

Aries wants to see Halloween 2 so bad!! He was watching the first one the other day but I swear the only reason why he likes it is because you see boobies and people doing the nasty in them. He's such a perv! LOL

Speaking of Halloween... do you have any plans for a costume? Any parties?

Aries said he isn't into dressing up and that it's dumb but he changed his tune when I told him that was too bad because I'd planned on dressing up like a German barmaid this year. He perked right up at that. LOL I'm digging the ruffle butt panties that I get to wear with the costume 😛

Awww... It's getting cold here already so it feels like fall. I've been in Halloween/fall mode for a week. LOL

I'm SO excited!!!! not for halloween but fall!!! my favorite season yyyaaaaaayyyy!!!!! and it's been so cool here,I keep forgetting I need a jacket early and late and my skin gets so chilled 🙂 and I luvs it.

I like the fall too but I can say I'm biased. 😉
Nothing like the dead of fall when the bone chilling rain comes and your curled up inside next to the fireplace watching horror movies. So cozy!! It gets darker faster and the sun comes up later. Yay! I'm not a fan of sunlight. And of course the colors are great.
I keep forgetting a jacket too and I get cold really easy 😢 And I'm just getting over being sick.

Fall is an ugly word, call it Autumn 🙂 I dont like it much, cause i love hot weather, but what i DO like is going shopping for some new cute jackets to wear since it'll be cold 🙂 LOL!!

I ditto this same sentiment. There are so many cute style s out this season. I got to get me some new boots. I am loving the new thigh high boots.

GS - I love your fall idea but without the horror flicks. I don't like horror flicks. I like suspense thrillers but not crazy about horror flicks. I love sitting with a good book. I have not had a chance to just read for pleasure since school started. My next break I think that is what I am going to do, read for pleasure. I love the air of fall......and when I am running I love the sound of crunching leaves and the beauty of the colors.

PD I got a pair of black over the knee boots late winter from Aries I'm dying to wear but I also want a pair of these brown babies I saw (I can't remember where though!!!! 😢)
I'm currently drooooooling over a Bebe brown leather bomber jacket I saw not long ago. It's not gonna be very warm but it's HOT to look at. 😛
I like wearing scarves and hats. And I love the browns and greens and reds of fall fashions. Being a redhead those are my colors.

I'm really excited about being in our new house for autumn because it's the first one Aries and I have spent consistantly together. I love the rainy November days 😛 It's all dark and gloomy and cozy. Ahhh..... I like all kinds of movies but horror movies and suspense movies are the best for cuddling 🙂

GS - Damn you red heads .....you can pull off fall wear really well. 😛 I bet your boots look hot. I think they are adorable ....with some jeans, scarf and hat ....and of course the new jacket of the season.

PP. LOL I like handing out candy to trick or treaters. I never got to do that when I lived out on the farm because our nearest neighbor was a mile away. Now I get to. Yay........... I think. Eh... I'm not very kid friendly. LOL

You guys dont like horror flicks? what are you gonna do on Halloween? lol. If i dont go to a halloween party, i would usually just stay in and watch a bunch of horror movies, and ignore the trick-r-treaters, while i eat the candy LOL!!!

Poor trick-r-treaters!!! 😢 Make sure to brush your teeth good and floss ......don't get any cavitites.

I think the last horror flick I saw was some kids were being chased by some weird guy in a monster truck ...cannot think to the name of it. When I was younger I used to love all the Freddy Kruger movies. I think I saw Children of the corn when I was younger and it scared me for life. lol Now I cannot watch scary movies.
