Have You Noticed That Most Of The Time A Couple Have Their First Child, ItsRising Be The Same As One Of The Parents Sun Sign _—? For example My Rising is Scorpio & My dad Sun Sign Is Scorpio _—?

Why Is That?

Connects the child to the parents. Rising affects physical appearance as much as Sun. Sometimes moreso. 🙂

My rising was neither of my parents' sun sign...

when one palm isn't enough

so what happens if the children don't have any of the sun signs of the parents?? and for some reason have the rising of the sun signs of the grandparents instead? This is also what i noticed.

No.

I do notice a lot of Aries with at least an Aries/Scorpio parent or a Libra/Taurus parent. Or one of the parents with a Mars/Pluto/Venus ruled chart. This happened with all 6 or 7 Aries I know.

Also a lot of Virgos with a fire parent..usually a Sag or Leo mom.

Same goes for my brother, now that I think about it. Oddly enough, our rising and moon signs are flipped. I'm Pisces rising and he's Cancer rising, and I'm Cancer moon and he's a Pisces moon, haha.

Astrology is awesome because there are no hard and fast rules. 😄 Just generalizations which are impacted by soooooooo many various things. Rising-matching-Sun is almost like a loophole, maybe, where if you're nothing like your parents it's the little slip-in to give you some sort of similarity. Physically especially. It's a common one, yet there are, of course, other ways to do it. And some kids are almost like they're from some whole different family.

The Ascendant is the sign your family "gives" you. In predictive uses of Astrology, a woman can determine the sign of your first born by the 4/5th house. My son is a Taurus. Taurus is the sign of my 4th house.

His is Ascendant is his father's Sun sign. My husband is a Virgo and our son is a Virgo Ascendant.

Likewise, I am the first born. My father is a Capricorn and I am a Cap Ascendant.

khm but seriously, that was my belief when I was a child. :T

My mom is aries sun and I have an aries moon.

Bio dad which I didn't grow up with, is cancer sun but i have no cancer placement in my natal chart. My draconic chart says I have cancer sun and cap moon.

My stepdad is sag sun and i have sag rising and 3 other sag placements. Funny how that works. Lol

Now their kids, my sister is scorp with sag moon and bro is aqua sun, moon and mercury with 9th house stellium and 10th house stellium.

Grandparents on mom's side are both caps and my sun, venus and mercury are in 10th house.

I was born premature though. I should've been a sag or cap instead of libra.
