That would be the opposition which might be hard to work with but can be good once whatever the issue is has been adressed.

Trine would of course easy and harmonious but can tempt laziness.

Square has troubles but motivates and turns out to be fruitful.

Conjunction, ah well, is pretty intense. Much light and much darkness at the same time.

I think that's the rough idea about them. At least from what I found and read a while ago.

hope i understand, it all depends if they are trine, square or conjunction? and how would i know?

Trine = same elements. E.g. Your Mercury is trine your Mars ( Taurus and Cap are both earth)

square and opposition depends on the degrees in your chart.

so i have to look at my Mars too? there is so much to this chart thing. When i look at my chart there are 2 numbers one before the name of the sign and the degree after the sign name. does the first number matter? like 3 Tau 0'31"r and 18 Cap 55'31" talking about the 3 and 18

Does that r mean anything?
So does mars in Scorpio with a mercury in Virgo make me a short tempered OCD jackass?
