i am wndering if moon signs really matter: I have sun in gem and moon in cancer, but i dont see or feel the emotional cancer that much in me my sun is always dominant looking back in whatever stuation i have been in, maybe i've been cancer once once but that is..most of the time i would reqact/feel/act lika my sun Gemini and my moon? what the hec is it? it probably desn't matter that much huh, no matter how important it is they claim...
I think( but it's just me) that the sun is 80 percent of who u really are and the other planets are just tiny bits not so important touches to complete the whole u.
Moon signs have a subtler influence but they just might be an important influence anyway - remember that both Gemimi and Cancer have similar qualities like for example changeability and imagination you are probably just not discerning this Cancer moon influence due to the mutability of this moon (meshing with the mutability of your sun) compare with a fixed sign for example such as Scorpio moon.
The "big ass half circle" is supposed to be the Moon and the small is Venus; this was an event that occurred on May 19, the slender crescent Moon was just 15-percent illuminated, Venus is the brightest planet in the sky, in May it will appear just before sunset,Venus is the first "star" to appear in the sky at this time of the year. in November you should be able to see it in the morning, at this time of the year Venus is the "morning star" and the last one to hide.
I have a Pisces Sun and Aquarius Moon and I would say my moon definitely plays a role in my personality. I am very freedom loving and need my relationships to be 50/50, an Aquarius trait by far. I hate double standards, and need the freedom to speak my mind. So I would say my moon plays a big role in who I am...the Pisces Sun keeps me laid back in my approach...
"i have sun in 17 degrees libra and moon in 17 degrees capricorn (an exact square, does this have a bigger effect than it ususally would since it is such a tight square?)"
Yes, 0 degree (sun17/moon17)aspects has a strong influence.
I think that the phase of the Moon that you were born under... Also has an influence towards the Moon...
Like Im a Cancer Sun with a Virgo Moon... So I was born under a Cresent Moon. The Moon is starting to grow, and glow in size...
Now... Moon signs... hummmm
I think they got the Aquarius Moon backwards. It just isn't the aspects. To me it is because Aquarius is a sign that can label, and give meaning to an emotion quicker then any other sign, when emotions are best simple, and free-flow (Being connected to the signs Taurus and Cancer).
Aquarius is about feeling on a humanitarian level, not one-on-one. To me it would be someone who has to feel a connection towards everything, and everyone. They got too much emotional thought that needs to be expressed towards the world. Keyword: FRIENDS...
Their emotions are based on the outside, not the inside. And sometimes can set out to find too much meaning. Just look how many poets are Aquarian dominated, over Pisces or even Scorpio. It is because Aquarius has an idea of how things should be... And well... Are really good with words.
My Virgo Moon makes me want to help out anyone who needs any emotional support. Without being caught up and trapped in someone elses world. Shallow? Well maybe... But not to others who come for the support!
Moon in 12th, Trine Neptune, Sextile Sun, Mars, Pluto here...
And I can relate towards the Aquarian Moon ppl... Cause when I read about the Virgo Moon, it makes me want to write these pages, and ask them why is it that everything you ever write about Virgo... Always seems to be related towards we are misplaced individuals... who only criticize ourselfs, and others, because we are uncomfortable in our shells and suroundings...To me there is no sign better then Virgo, that is good at being uncomfortable, to the point they cannot stop changing all the time. The ability to bring order out of chaos!

I was wondering; what does it exactly mean to have a moon in cancer; I've been listening to you guys, and we sound alot alike....could it be the moon? I have been known to be moody, and romantic, a dreamer, and tenaciously defensive....I am like that thro
