MOON SIGNS

So moon signs are my newest fascination and apparently they show your emotional side.

How do people think different mon signs affect different sun signs?
Know any interesting combos?

My Sun is Cancer (on a gemini cusp) and my moon is gemini (on a taurus cusp)
I never thought I was geminian in terms of emotions but some of the descriptions definately fit (thoguh mayeb that's my cusp and venus gemini acting up too)

I've heard scorpio moon is a tricky one to have. The only scorp moon I know doesseem very controlled and not at all expressive of his emotions.

I think my leo moon is boring.

OFA: I know someone who is the reverse of you. Saggi sun, aqua moon. Very charming and sociable. Lots of fun. I wouldn't call him spazzy but when he's really excited or happen it's fun but it is a little like "Holy crap, calm down."
Crazy energy.

Sounds kind of like me. I'm fiercely protective of my loved ones.
I can be very dramatic when I feel wronged or taken advantage of, but I won't make a scene in public about it (however, those who know me well enough know they will pay when we get home.) I have a hard time concealing my distaste for certain people - I'm not good at being fake - so in a way I am open with my emotions.
I am affectionate - but in a feline way. I'm affectionate on my own terms. Sometimes I don't want anyone to touch me.


& I am arrogant at times. Lol. I'll admit it.

Aqua moons are free spirits. I like them. They're refreshing.
But I can see how trying to settle down with one would drive you insane first.

Oh yeah Leo's are very proud and will try to keep a fairly calm outward appearence in public. They don't want to be embarassed by anyone.
They are quite honest though so if they dislike someone they won't cause a scene but they won't pretend to be besties with them either.

So what's up with your gemini moon? I've never met anyone with a gem moon.

A lot of that is quite similar. I don't switch jobs/homes that much but I do seem to have a million unconnected interests and get bored quick
I think I'm honest. I have a saggi ascendent and tend to come out with things pretty bluntly sometimes, I can come up with great lies in my head (cause it's like making up stories) but I feel guilty about using them so I generally don't.
The rest seems pretty accurate though in a lot of ways.

I wish I had a scorpio moon. Leo is boring.. I have it too....blah.

I wish I had a different moon. I always feel like I'm outside a wondow looking in a a party full of happy people and I want to join in but I know I wouldn't fit it 😢
I try and hide that though.

I'm a Taurus moon. Makes me sound like an uptight, materialistic, pompous. I don't see myself as such though. Maybe, my mom got my time of birth wrong.

What would you rather have?

I'd prefer a Virgo moon or maybe a fire moon (Aries). But my temper is already bad enough. Anyway, I have too much water. My venus, mercury and jupiter are also in Scorpio. Emotional? Oh you have no idea. It's overwhelming sometimes. And I get mad at myself for not being able to pull it together and be "normal". I try to hide it like your friend because I KNOW people don't understand me and where I'm coming from. I don't like to be overly open about my emotions anyway. So I hide and sulk alot. I like my alone time so I can relax. I'm very caculating about everything and very on guard. It's pretty exhausting sometimes. I'd say thank goodness for my Taurus rising but I don't identify with it much

I'm an Aries moon.....stubborn, high-strung, impulsive, adventurious, I like to set my own pace, people either like me or dispise me(due to my impulsivness),obstinate--pair that with the Aqua midheaven 😢, idealistic about love, and quick tempered, and I can't stand interference from "outsiders" Yup....lol. Dat me yo!

It's not that serious.


I have 5 planets in Scorp, plus a Cancer Rising, and I am relatively normal. 😛

I have a Leo Moon but I wouldn't call it boring... I wish I did have a "boring" moon actually though... like Virgo! 😛 If I was born just a bit later... My Leo moon combined with my Scorpio Sun leads me to emotional extremes at times and it takes everything I have not to react to those feelings all the time. I think having an earthy Moon would give me better control of my emotions.

i'm right there with you! i have scorpio sun, leo moon too.

i have enough cap to stabilize myself though.
i think i got an overall alright chart. haha.
my leo placements make me more outgoing i think.
but at the same time it makes me more attention-wanting.
ah well, all signs have their ups and downs. lol.

Virgo moon here and I have found that despite the fact that I am extremely emotional, I hold back myself back. I am very private, very defensive about how I feel, and can convince myself not to feel. I make myself indifferent. I lose the initial passion I have. I am extremely critical of myself. Sometimes I think I am incapable of giving love ever again since I have analyzed the hell out of emotions. I talk myself out of my emotions and don't allow myself to let go. I wish I had a water sign moon. However, not paired with my water sun. Having an earth moon balances out my water sun I suppose, makes me capable of being objective and looking at situations outside of how I feel personally about them. I can take on different sides and perspectives easily. The disadvantage is sometimes I don't know my own mind, I don't know which side to choose since I can understand many of them, and I criticize myself for how I feel. I am very picky and pay attention to trivial things too much, as if I think they solely define the bigger picture. Hate that.

Even though my moon is in Leo, I am the SAME way.
I think for me, it's all the Cap & Scorp I have going on.
But seriously, that's exactly how I am too.

Today I met with a woman at my age who shares Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Juno and Vesta with me.
The difference is Moon and Rising (or house placements).

She has Moon in Taurus and Scorpio Rising.
I have Moon in Pisces and Sag Rising.
Guess the difference in our characters and lives!

yes, in the interaction with me I found her determinant and somehow intimidating, just like my impression of Scorpios. At the same time she was kind and generous, a hostess type of woman.

Pisces sun with Aqua moon; i really like this mix. I find it makes me neither overly emotional or overly detached. I think a nice healthy balance of logic, emotion and imagination.. Both signs share an unconventionality and searching spirit.

i'm also quite partial to Pisces and Virgo moons mixed with any sign. Pisces moon adds a nice intuitiveness, imagination, talent, creativity and romantism, while Virgo moon adds a helpful dose of perfectionism, excellent work ethic, attention to detail, pragmatism and higher responsibility.

My saggi ascendent and gemini moon understands the need for freedom but also that the more free you make them feel the less they'll want to exercise that freedom.
my cancer planets make me a little more possessive but I still like freedom so I can understand it in others.

it's best though if their saggi moon is combined with a more possesive or commited moon (something in earth or water)

What are aqua mooners like emotionally? I'm a pisces with an aqua moon. I find that to be an interesting mix. I just wonder what kind of person do I come off as.

I am a Cancer with Aries moon. I love my Aries moon. It is far from being boring. But I'm like torn between two personalities/people. One minute I'm like this, and then I change. It's not very easy. I agree that in a relationship, it is the moon that matters. My BF is an Aquaman with moon in Scorpio. Since I am the Cancer, I should be the clingy one but no, I am very selfish, irritable, changeable, impulsive, adventurous, easily angry but never holds any grudges, and he happens to be the very possessive and jealous kind.

Cap sun and Pisces moon. These days more like a Pisces than Cap. Goes back and forth depending on the situation.

I dont quite understand why the scorpio moon is so tricky? But it could explain why I am so horrible at expressing emotion.

I know someone who (depending on his time of birth) is either pisces sun or aries sun with a scorp moon. Either way he never really shows emotion. Drives me crazy cause I can tell it's there

gemini moon-which is fine with me, i usually close down debates/arguments with no little to no emotions which makes great for little to no problems. 🙂
