moon signs? venus? whaa?

whats the sitch? apparently it's important but i have no clue. everything i search online tells me about the sun sign or the moon sign or something about venus...not what they mean together. and how do you know if your sun/moon/venus combination is compatible with somebody elses? what's the most important factor to look at?
Check out a website called cafeastrology.com. It'll give you a whole heap of compatibilty reports between sun signs, moon signs, venus & mars signs etc etc. It's free.
From what i've read, you need to look at sun, ascendant and moon together as the most important 3 which gives you the main profile of a person. The venus sign is also important for compatibility, since it's the "love sign" so to speak.
astrology-numerology.com is also another site where you can get combination information (this one's free too). Probably the best thing to do is to run up compatibility of your charts based on birth time & location, I haven't come across a site that will do this for free though. Good luck
