Posted by NevermoreTreated your father = How you showed affection toward your father. Getting comments like "Aren't you a bit old for that? etc"
Can't remember if I got a lot of physical affection from others.
I actually do missed the love affectionate.. but that's life.
And as a women, yes.. especially though childhood to teenage (she still whines though).
I don't understand the question of "treated your father?" part.

I am moon sextile Venus. I don't recall affection from people really. My mom never said any of those things to me. But she has always been controlling of me, even to this day.
But I am also Moon square Pluto and that is way stronger.
Posted by RumiLAww. When it's just you and your mom, do you find an odd dynamic where one is more nurturing/guarded while the other is more socially out going? Does it ping-pong between the two of you depending on the situation at hand?
I have moon opposite Venus.
Physical affection... I continue that with my parents, grandmothers, baby cousins, aunts. With my parents I'm still the same way I always was.. Hugging, kissing, sitting on their laps, tickles, pulling their cheeks..etc. I cling to my dad. I'm physically affectionate.
But there was something in the affection we recieved as kids obviously.. it's not sad or anything lol. I'm a girl lol..my uncles or other adults or my adolescent cousins cannot be so physically close now ...its just natural
My mommm....well she's a devil she keeps nagging about certain things(dress better...wear some better clothes as per today's trend, dont be so shy, be bold blah blah blah) and yes, how I always dance to my papa's tune :p says I'm partial to my dad.. I love my dad more and we both team up against her.. .. I know she's just saying in light hearted teasing way though!

When you were a kid, did you gets lots of physical affection (hugs, head pats, etc) from people? No.
When you grew older, did you miss how much affection you used to get compared to affectionate gestures, if any, you revived as a teen/adult? See above.
Does physical affection have a strong effect on you now? Yes.
Women: Did your mom make "passive-aggressive" jabs at your weight, appearance and the way you treated your father?Yes to the weight and appearance(and I was nooot overweight). No to the latter.
Posted by SirHornsYess!! What about the aspect points to that dynamic?? I'm more the silent support, aiding her by staying in the background...it's hard to explain. Although we're so opposite, we are helping and supporting each other in social situations. She's a little innocent(ahemm).. Sometimes I'm like a mother to her lol. The calmer one.Posted by RumiLAww. Men: Did your mom either go from happy hug person to an aloof mom as you grew up? Also do you have a thing where you ping pong between liking two different types of women?
