Am I doomed???!!!
Hi PVAF! Glad you're here! Such a boring day this is! @_@
My North Node is 2 Aries, 11th House. It's in opposition to my Sun (27 Virgo) and Venus (4 Libra)
Sun Opposite North Node: Major circumstances in your life deny you opportunities and resources for self-expression, especially your leadership ability and power potential. You encounter numerous obstacles in attempting to achieve your goals. Your actions are thwarted by others (this is karmic).
SOOOOOOOOOOOO TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Venus Opposite North Node: You may have trouble expressing your feelings and may lack affection or displays of affection as a child, but you have a deep love of your family and your parents. Your love of domestic harmony often leads you to marry in order to have a beautiful home and family life. Your home is artistic and beautiful, even if simple, and much of the money you earn is spent on home improvements. You like good cooking.
Not bad... :/
Neptune Square North Node: Your mystical tendencies clash with the down-to-earth traditions of society, which may think you're an impractical dreamer or a subversive influence undermining accepted religious and social values. You feel constantly misunderstood and alone, even in a crowd. You can act confused since you're often out of step with events and those around you.
@_@ feels sad...
how could that be, Ands?

Now I understand why... I have hard aspects with regard to my North Node. How do I deal with these? @_@

There was a thread about north nodes here some where. Had some good descriptions. Can't remember which one. But an opposition in your chart should be looked at as an opportunity for growth. Not a hinderance.

What do you mean by that PVAF? smile

@firebunny I figure if you know where the roadblock is you can over come it. Like for me the major opposition in my chart is Moon opposition Mercury. I'm torn always between my head and my heart. My goal in life is to find the balance so I can live harmoniously. Being sun opposition moon doesn't help either. But I find Pisces and Virgo energy in my chart blend well, though Virgo seems to be the boss. Big Grin
Moon square or opposition Mercury
There is a conflict here between the head and the heart. The emotions tell them one thing and the mind tells them something else. The result is a wavering, and a see-saw effect is most evident with the opposition--emotional to the point of irrationality at one moment, and logical the next. How to blend the head and the heart is a constant struggle for these individuals, usually because there is a tendency to resist blending them!
These people love to chat, enjoy story-telling and writing/poetry, and usually possess a sparkling wit! They are animated when they speak, and have a sense of humor that others appreciate simply because it's very imaginative. Some are especially adept at satire. You can usually tell their moods by how much they're talking. When nervous or excitable, they talk up a storm. Moodiness is a characteristic, definitely, and an especially subjective nature makes them prone to hypersensitivity. It usually has to do with the fact that they take in so very much from their environment. This is also one of the reasons why they tend to be indecisive. While Mercury conjunct Moon people tend to be quite consistently rational, the hard aspects of Moon-Mercury generate a swing between irrational and rational thoughts and feelings. This rarely transfers into action, however. It's pretty much something that takes place "upstairs" in the mind, although others are sure to see the struggle from time to time. These people are always interesting, and usually funny. They have a tendency to misrepresent themselves with what they say from time to time, but they're charming, if a little kooky, friends.

I have quite forgotten that your Sun opposes your Moon. I think you are an authority yourself. You have the grace and the maturity that reverberate these forums. I'll keep what you said in mind coz it really shows. smile
I have Venus opposite NN too, and even though my Sun falls out of orb for another opposition it might as well be there anyway with my 7th house stellium vs. 1st house Aries NN lol.
It's been a lifelong battle of basically slip n' sliding along the Libra/Aries axis. Of course I have other factors that contribute to that, but my behavior tends to swing back forth between accommodating and impulsive.
Hahah! TMV, you and I are astro twins! smile
