Posted by RumiLYeah that does happen a lot. I just don't know what to do about these 'challenges' now that I'm aware of them. I'd like to work through them or move past them but I just don't know quite what to do.
Hard aspects aren't necessarily bad. They don't make a person a certain way. IMO, hard aspects just point towards challenges. You can find ways to either accept or overcome now that you know ๐ .. Other aspects can overshadow too.
On Neptune square asc and mercury opp asc..i dont know :p
For mercury square ascendant, I think what you have in your head is opposite to how to act in social situation? It eats you in your head but your surroundings affect you in a completely different way and you end up acting different. Your mind gets caught up "wtf did i just do"โ And hence self doubt? Hmmm... This may not be correct.. ๐

Posted by HappyCapperThank you for your answer ๐ I think I will just ask people I'm close to, because I can end up beating myself up abut stuff unnecessarily and think things are there that aren't really. I have noticed these two aspects throughout my life though, long before I knew about them astrologically.
Imo, don't over analyse it. But be very aware and feel it!
Risk is to even aquire bad traits that you didn't even have before. For instance, I have several hard aspects that I don't even notice day-to-day because they are over shadowed by other hard and tighter aspects or because of other influences in general. Those less prominent ones, I will probably never actively work on - just live through them.
Talk to people you are close to - ask them for an honest(!) opinion and description of yourself, because sometimes, you(as in, we humans) just can't see yourself and what you project to others from the inside.
Right now, there is a specific aspect that I'm working on - I even bought a book about it. I don't thiiink I'm over analysing it; it's just an especially prominent one that I have a real problem with, so it needs to be actively taken care of. I also feel it's a gateway to two other aspects that need attention. I think my method of doing this is working, but there's no way to know for sure as of yet, so we'll see.

Posted by fauxfuchsiaHard aspects = great potential. Sure, there are challenges, but Iยดve seen it assotiated with power. My example is a mars SQ pluto can lead to a short temper, all sort of conflict, but Bruce Lee had that too, and it helped him a great deal with martial arts, which is a for of confrontation/combat.
