Pecking versus a kiss

So I am an Aries and he is a Gemini. We kinda know each other from school, but recently met up at a wedding. Throughout the night he would say, wow, you're so cool and this is the coolest girl you ever meet. at the end, he gave me a peck on the cheek and said i'll see you around with some folks standing around. what the heck does a peck mean? why didn't he ask for my number?
is this his gemini way of flirting?
I think it shows respect and is sweet. Or maybe he just doesn't want to promise anything much further and is moving cautiously at his own comfortable pace. I can respect the guy for that. And with people standing around, who wouldn't feel at uneasy.
He merely stated that you were cool ..... he wasn't like, "you are going to be the mother of my children".
Jesus Christ .. what is the matter with people? Just because a man likes hanging out with you, doesn't mean he wants to take you shopping for a ring and a washer machine.

Aries !!!!!!!!!!
YOu know .. you aren't "it" just because someone breathes around you.

LOL!!!!

Anyway, I have to agree with most of the other posters here. Is your question for real? What exactly were you expecting him to do? There was a) a group of people standing around...who wants to risk possible rejection in front of an audience? and b) you ran into each other at a function, this does not make it a date! Seriously this would be the same as you running into some guy you like while grocery shopping and expecting him to kiss you while standing over the produce!
Wow, here I was thinking pisces liked to move fast!
Really a fantastic discussion.well done.........
