Put the book down for a minute?

We can all relate to our sun signs. Aside from mine I also have other aspects I can also feel as well. Sometimes they even take over when the time calls for it.
Despite what a book tells us is strongest, what is it really that YOU can relate to best? Aside from your sun sign of course.
Rising, moon....Venus even?? Who knows, maybe it's different for everyone.

*The use of aspects and houses is very much welcome (for those freaky people who obsess over these things)*
my sun being in the ninth house, and my moon
actually, i think all of my planets influence me the way astrology says they're supposed to. i haven't found anything that doesn't make sense.
Good point homies. But if there was one that seems to come up just as often as your sun sign which would it be? Your moon, right? For you anyway.
yep, for sure. i see its influence most in the way i react to things.
Do you have a habit of reacting to things 'all of a sudden'? Like from nowhere and nobody saw it coming? lol Aqua energy tends to make things happen out of the blue.

Funny you should mention that, because I just surprised someone the night before last by confronting them in front of our group of friends when they were acting like a jerk. They got all wide-eyed. It was funny 'cause they never even saw it coming.
Usually I'm pretty good at keeping these things in check, but I guess that would just make it seem more out of the blue...hehe.
What other aspect of your chart do you relate most strongly to?
lol. archer, i was about to blame my Libra moon for my sort of "emotional detatchment" issues. i tend toward trying to rationalize and analyse them, figure them out instead of just letting them be...and sometimes that just isn't possible, so it works out like this: if emotions were an STD i'd be saying "No, i dont have herpes. geez, that's gross. how could you think that about me?...but you know, i do have this horrible rash that keeps surfacing." i think the Sun/Moon air combo creates the mecha monster responsible for this terrified confusion. i also blame my moon placement for my inability to allow others to argue. it's fine if i do it (as long as i'm not having an "emotion flare up"), but if anyone else does i get hella anxious...hrm...geez, i could go on and on with this one.
what placement, archer?
i guess i'll try to answer, but i'm not entirely sure of what you're asking. my moon is at 0 degrees Libra, in my 3rd house, just out of trine with my sun...um...do i win a prize now for getting the answer right? 8D ...you should stop talking to me, cause i've heard that you have emotions and that you can get it from unprotected social interaction sometimes...
so what happens when the sun and moon are in opposing elements i wonder. is that when things start getting canceled out, like Pluto's Muse is talking about? hrm...more things i hadn't considered.
..What other aspect of your chart do you relate most strongly to?..

hoomies, aside from my moon and Virgo placements. The one that keeps rearing it's ugly head and seems to affect other people the most (as well as myself) is the 3 way stell I have in the 11th involving Saturn. So.... Saturn wins.

I have this. I feel more evened out than cancelled out. I really think it just depends on the person.
oops.. that should say *homies*
i have that too and i agree with purrrfect...although certain things are canceled out, not because my sun and moon are in opposition, necessarily, but more due to the nature of my moon sign.

I don't know about that. How does it affect you?

The down side is that saturn is restrictive. The upside is that it has a tendency to focus someone. Adds responsibility. Since it sits on my mercury, I don't say much in person. I am labeled as too quiet which can frustrate people. In the 11th, only keeping the 3 friends around that I've known since I was a kid explains it all. It's also near my sun. Someone else here had explained a saturn/Leo sun conjunction as restricting expression. I thought that was a good way of putting it. Even though I have saturn in Cancer.
homies, do you have any major aspects in your chart?
i have no idea
My Sun and Moon are both Libra...then I recently discovered my ascendent is Taurus....wtf?
I am not sure this is a great thing. Both are ruled by Venus but as I understand they are contradictory opposites, both striving for the same thing but in completely different ways.
Anyone with an opinion on this is more than welcome to share it. Please.
I to can see how the other signs effect my houses. I am a sagi, and my rising sign is a capacorn. I have noticed this helps balance me out. I am not nearly as flighty as some of my other friends who are sagi's. I also tend to be a bit more reserved and observant in a new situation. My sun sign is in Sagi, then moon in Gemini. I do not feel the effect of these two as I do my rising sign. It could be because those two are very much a like, and I was born a sagi.. so feels natural perhaps?
The venus is what I have felt influences me the most. It is in Scorpio. Many books go on about how detached a sagi can be, expecially romantically.. I almost have two sides playing heavy on this. I can look at things in a detached way. I was able to have sex for the pure pleasure of sex. But also, I can be very emotionally intense in a relationship if I allow it.. few describe me as consuming in a almost frightening way. I feel deeply and had to learn how to balance out these two sides. I am not happy when I am not taping into that scorp side, but if I give into it totally then I almost become overwelmed. To many emotions at one time and I am unable to sort them out. Once I learned how to be deeply passionate but still maintain that playful side a Sagi is known for, I am a lot better.
