Not sure of they mentioned this because the podcast was hard to follow due to the quality... but did they ridicule how we assign genders for the planets.
Like Venus influences a mans partner vs Mars for a female.

I think if you put that theory to rest there really isn't a problem.

They did and then played politics ...hard.
White male astrologers are the notable authorities on astrology.
We're trained to just respect them automatically just cause they fit, not saying they didn't earn it but....yeah everyone else just sits quietly and listens to the hetero white men talk.

I'm gonna just poke holes in this case while I get what they mean, its more politics than anything to help the craft.
Moon square Venus is a harsh aspect that plays out differently between men and women.

In men, it would manifest as a struggle to view one woman as a sexual being and as a nurturing figure. So cue mitresses to be sexual with, while wifey sits at home with her charity belt.

In women, it implies mommy did not take her puberty/sexual awakening well at all. Cue the native being accused of slitting around by her mom, while said mom tries too scare or seduce all her possible boyfriends away.

When the astrology chart can't even find heterosexuality, looking for other sexualties is impossible. Sure we can see sex drive, sexual openness and frigidness towards sex, but that's about it. Kinks get thrown to outer planets.

Venus and Mars are vanilla as fuck aparently, unless outers are influencing them.

in the modern era, I'd think there are at least as many females than males if not more

Shhh. Let them project their white man power fantasy onto astrologers. It distracts them from the fact skills, talents, influence and years of work that got them there and not there massive white dicks they slapp people around with.

Also for anyone not cis-gendered (okay with the bodies gender you were born in) and anything not heterosexual, does the whole moon/Venus and mars/sun projection part of astrology fail for you?
I mean I'd think bisexuals and asexuals would prove sexuality is too complex to be reduced to an aspect signature pattern, but I'm a student so can't speak with authority.

I'd figure it just be easier to ask which planets they seem to be attracted to more and go from there like any other reading, but I don't have a hero social justice complex. Just really focused on delievering high quality readings that help out whoever needs/wants it.
