Scott Petersen: Gulity or Not?

I think he's definately guilty. Reporters mentioned as of late that a tarp and some tools were found in his truck after he went boating. Gee, I wonder what he needed those for....

But what does anyone else think? This story has gone AP and is nationwide for anyone out of the loop.

Guilty. He is doing everything that a criminal would do.

I get a strong sense that he is guilty. He acts so cold and unaffected by what's "happened" to his wife and child. It's not normal the way he comes across. Not normal in the sense that it's different from the way you would think a person would act when something like this happens to their family. I would hope that if I was eight months pregnant and murdered that my husband would be just a little more upset than what scott seems. I'll tell you one thing, if they can prove that he did it (or if they can prove that somebody else did it), whoever is guilty deserves the harshest punishment possible. It's too bad that vigilante justice is so frowned upon these days. Back in the day (*way* back in the day), this guy would have been tortured to the point of wishing he'd never been born for doing something like this. And I can't say I would have shed any tears for him if I was living back then.

Absolutely Phoenix. I would not shed a tear for this monster either. What shocks me though is, there was a posting about this story two days ago on AOL--from the main page and there were some mean and totally irrational postings about Laci. And in support of this evil bastard. I just don't understand some people.

There was also a comment regarding findings in the kitchen of their home. It was said that he killed her there and then transported the body. So sad, sounds like a Charles Manson type!

see, the last couple days I haven't had a chance to follow the story so that's the first I've heard of that. What I would also like to know about is what's up with the authorities finding a second woman and infant's remains in San Fransisco bay AGAIN? Is it a copycat crime? Or did Scott kill another woman and her baby to throw off investigators, maybe to make them think there was a serial killer out there? Did anyone see the press conference where Laci's mom was talking about everything and about getting justice? It was very wrenching.

When she stood there speaking and didn't break down until she said, 'I hope who ever did this hears her pleading for her life" over and over again, that got me.
If Scott Peterson did it and I think he may have hired someone, but he did say he went fishing, near where the bodies washed up on shore, that was very suspect.

Rest her and her babies soul, whoever washed up on the beach.

And James Tate. The story is about a Modesto, California couple. The wife was reported missing on Christmas eve and she was eight months pregnant. They had already named the baby boy 'Conner'.

Who will ever know the truth. O.J. Simpson was found innocent.

Kenny G I looked up the reports on the net how sad and if he did it how sick his own child.

He did it. He dyed his hair and his eyebrows blonde. Then grew a goatee and dyed that blonde too, and had 10,000 dollars in his car. He said the the reason his hair was blonde was because he went swimming in his neighbor's pool. That had to be one wicked pool!

Only celebrities get away with this crap. And Scott's no celebrity, well he is now, but prior to the murder. 🙂

We have had a few celebrity killings over the last two years nothing like O J Simpson. I will keep on this just to see how it turns out.

Just gathering all the clues.. you realize how stupid this guy really is. I mean, if you murder someone and you intend to get away with it, you don't leave behind ANY traces--in this case, cement found in his boat, a tarp in his truck, bleached floors, ten grand and paperwork that states that you just bought a brand new Mercedes!! And who knows what else he has done--oh yeah, of course the blond hair too. Scott's guilty as all hell and....not too bright.

OK, I havent kept with this case very much lately, but I heard that Scott's attorney is using the defense that Laci went out jogging in the middle of the night and was murdered by a satanic cult or some BS like that. Is there any truth to this?
