I share the same mindset as Shaka on the placement. I mean come on! What's the deal. Why does everything have to become so damn magnified with that placement. On the other hand it also eliminates fear from most trying occasions. Well not eliminate but subdues it. Comes in handy when you're scared shitless.
That insight into people's emotions and motivations is dangerous though. The problem lies in whether the person will use it for personal gain or not. Sure it might be cool to know what makes people tick and get inside their heads but come on you have enough trouble with your own thoughst and insecurities. Why would you want to know about everyone elses. Then the paranoia sinks in and you curl up into the fetal position.
