Sun Missing from Houses

This topic was created in the Astrology forum by SpiceNSugar on Sunday, January 26, 2014 and has 10 replies.
Is there any significance to a chart where the Sun sign doesn't appear in any of the Houses?
Well, I'm looking at the natal chart of someone I know and the Sun Sign does not appear anywhere in any of the Houses. I've never come across this before and just got to wondering if it might mean anything.
LOL @ anti-christ
I'd prefer not to put the chart up. You'll have to take my word on it that the Sun does NOT appear in any of the houses.
I pulled the chart up on two different sites and get the same output.
OK this is possible, I'll check it. But what does intercepted mean or imply? Anything in particular?
I'm an astrology newbie so I didn't know how to interpret this. Thank you.
impertinent info? Tongue
I dunno...that just struck me funny

Helpful thread though, I'm sure the OP isn't the first to run into this and think "wtf?"
Esp given the whole house cusps and whole house concept.

Did you solve this riddle? Because I'm interested.

Well, from what I'm understanding, this occurs when someone has cusps in their houses. So just a couple of degrees more into the house will make the "dominant" cusp sign appear in the house.
I'm sure my terminology is off but the concept should be right. I hope??
However, I'm still not 100% sure if this is significant in any way or just a mere factor that someone has cusps in the houses.
I have Sun in an intercepted house, but it's still in a house. Has to be.

More or less correct yes, but does that apply to your friend's chart. You don't need to post it, but is the 1st House Sign the same as the 2nd or 12th or so forth?

Yes, the first house and the twelfth house indicate the same sign. Is that what you mean?
