Aries The Principle of New Beginnings Aries came in with an innate desire to be. They've already figured out that it does little good to take care of everyone else if you let your own self go down the tubes. This why they are sometimes perceived as selfish. Aries often has their own self-interest at heart. If we didn't have the energy of Aries to draw on none of us would be here today. Do it now! Just try to convince them that waiting is in their best interest. There are mountains to climb and countries to be conquered! Life awaits!
:The House with Aries on the cusp is where you will (actively) pursue that area if life. Mars is The Activator!
Taurus The Principle of Self-Worth Try not to take advantage of the Taurus laid back approach. When they finally get mad-they can stay mad for a long time. Taurus teaches us to appreciate the good things in life. Smell the roses. Take a deep cleansing breath and calm down. It's going to be okay.
:The House with Taurus on the cusp is what you place a high value on or have high standards.

Their wide variety of experiences allows them to be able to identify with several different viewpoints. Gemini teaches us to open our minds and explore the world around us -ever searching for new knowledge and experiences.
:The House with Gemini on the cusp is where you are hard to pin down.
Cancer The Principle of Security Cancers many moods will teach you the art of gentle diplomacy whether you want to learn it or not. Cancer doesn't forget either. They have very good memories and a fondness for reliving the past, for good or ill. Don't try to hide anything from a Cancer. This is another sweet sign you don't want to cross. Sometimes they get a gut feeling about things. They're like your mother was. They just know stuff. They're usually right.
:The House with Cancer on the cusp is where you either mature early or bloom later on.
Leo The Principle of Personal Recognition Leo wrote the book on how to be willful. Boy are they ever! Try to budge one. Try coaxing a Lion to sit on your lap. They know how the world should function. They hang onto their views because they absolutely hate to be wrong. Opinionated? Extremely. Still, there is something of a kid in Leo and they really do care about your opinion of them. They are a fun-loving fire sign with a big heart and loyal companionship to offer those who understand and appreciate them for what they are. Leo teaches us to like ourselves and the world will follow.
:The House with Leo on the cusp is what you'd really like to recognized for or accomplish.
Virgo The Principle of Discernment and Boundaries Virgo is into reality. They don't dream about what is possible- they do it. If the five senses cannot detect it, then what use is that? Virgo has a talent for logical analysis. Pure Virgo energy always knows where the scissors are. A place for everything and everything in it's place. If you won't do it, then they will. Virgo likes to help. It's a service-oriented sign. Thank a Virgo today for being humble enough to do what needs to be done. For taking the time to fuss over the small details which enhance the quality of life in so many practical ways.
:The House with Virgo on the cusp is where you will learn to use discernment. (..judge wisely and objectively.)
Libra The Principle of Giving and Receiving Night needs day. Man needs woman. Libra needs people to complement their existence. Relating to someone is a big Libran issue. Libra is sociable. They enjoy interacting with other people. Libra needs people to bounce their ideas off of and to make them feel complete. They are gracious and fair-minded. Libra creates a pleasant environment by showing us the benefits working cooperatively and harmoniously with one another.
:The House with Libra on the cusp is where you want fairness or balance.
Scorpio The Principle of Transformation Shallow effects are not for the Scorpio. They can be quietly powerful and Scorpio's still waters run deep. Some are simply power hungry. Other Scorpios have a dire need to be in control. When we describe someone as being controlling, we are talking about the Scorpio energy. Scorpio is always aware of what it's doing. It rarely does anything without some kind of purpose behind the action. Scorpios can be jealous. Highly evolved Scorpios use this energy to regenerate. They have the ability to hit the pits and rise up again renewed. Rebirth is a good Scorpio description. Is it any wonder why they make wonderful psychiatrists? The regenerative process is their gift. When wishy-washy won't do, enlist the aid of Scorpio.
:The House with Scorpio on the cusp is where you experience EXTREMES.
Sagittarius The Principle of Broadened Horizons With expansive Jupiter as their back up they're often an indulgent lot. Heavy duties and small details is not a Sagittarian treat. Too often this sign in a chart means, irresponsible. Explore, run free. Indulge present moment whims and fancies. Hey, this is starting to sound like fun! Nature-loving. Sagittarius is back to nature. It's going into the mountains and getting away, from it all. So, in a way it suggests being alone. When one is alone, the pressure of societal responsibilities takes a back seat. It's the energy of the mountain man or woman. One more thing. This sign is supposed to be optimistic. But, Jupiter is the great expander. When a Sag is feeling down they are anything but optimistic. However, many do live up to the reputation. Some might like to say this trait makes Sagittarius feel invincible. Blind optimism-...it can drive Sag's enemies completely nuts!
:The House with Sagittarius on the cusp is where you want freedom.
Capricorn The Principle of Responsibility Efforts are directed purposefully towards success. Aimed at a career this is a positive attribute. With people ... not so merciful. In the chart Capricorn often points to an area of life that is not a lot of fun. But, this is not necessarily a negative. There is another kind of satisfaction that comes from working towards goals, overcoming obstacles, and then reaping the fruits of your labor. Capricorn energy is faithful to the cause and capable of really hanging in when the going gets rough.
:The House with Capricorn on the cusp is where you may overcompensate for feeling inadequate.
Aquarius The Principle of Reformation Aquarians need their freedom. The freedom to feel self-sufficient. They need to feel like they can walk away even within the confines of a group function. And yet, there is often an attraction for the group effort. Especially those that have humanitarian agendas. Often an Aquarian goes through a life experience that teaches them the value of being different; of breaking away from the group mind. Some accomplish this with relative ease and even embrace the concept, while others face painful experiences which simply leave them with no other alternative. Alas, though, all too often the world reform remains in the mental realm of thoughts and ideas. Aquarius can teach us about functioning cooperatively within the group while at the same time maintaining our sense of individuality.
:The House with Aquarius on the cusp can be unpredictable or unusual.
Pisces The Principle of Ego Transcendence Pisces is a mirror for other people. They reflect back to you whatever you send out without even realizing it. Like the fish they can see below the surface. Pisces can also sense what others want and they know how to become that too, if necessary. It's part of the Pisces illusion. They are highly impressionable and emotional. Pisces can teach us how to give without reward and to reach out to our fellow man with universal love and acceptance. Pisceans do best in an environment where they can exercise their imaginations and intuitive nature. They are gifted artistically. They are versatile and tend to understand things by absorption rather than logic. They are receptive to new ideas and circumstances. They possess wonderful creativity which is demonstrated in music, literature, drama and art. They have an acute instinct for, and love of beauty in nature as well as the arts. They appreciate luxury and pleasure, and are ripe for new sensations. Pisces energy breaks down the material boundaries between the earth plane and the spiritual dimensions. All manner of possibilities exist when we arrive at this doorstep.
:The House with Pisces on the cusp is where you have few boundaries.
Hi MyEulogy Sounds like you have 'INTERCEPTED HOUSES', like me. Also, very likely you will then have 'Duplicated Houses' as well. It can be somewhat complicated, but as far as i know, where there are duplicated house cusps in your natal chart, energies here are very open and evident, governing 2 separate areas of life. While signs or house cusps that are hidden may give a more private, internal type of influence.
eg. My Aries/Libra houses (6 & 12 axis) are intercepted. Meaning i have no apparent Aries/Libra house cusps. However, i still count Libra as shared ruler of my 6th house and Aries as shared ruler of my 12th. My duplicated houses are Gemini (houses 2 & 3) and Sag (houses 8 & 9). Although i have no planets in either Aries or Libra, my Part of Fortune in Aries is 'still' in my 12 house and my Lilith in Libra is 'still' inside my 6th. So they are definately there, only hidden or swallowed. Kind of like one super large house doing double-duty. Like a house without a door. The energies are there, only less exposed.
:The House with Libra on the cusp is where you want fairness or balance. I find this to be very true. Libra may be hidden, but i still feel its influence on this intercepted house.
I enjoyed this....but I'd like to think there is more to Virgo...I think union/sex and innovation are HUGE undisclosed themes....Virgo teaches us (in my mind) to bring together opposites, and contrary ideas, to compare and contrast, that should be brought together for something completely 'Virginial'. Virgin by definition means 'new' or pure.....sex would obviously have to play a part in Virgo or at least the experience(it's symbolic becuase opposites do in fact attract, and they are brought together to make a new whole heightened 'experience' or 'form'....naturally detatched but seeking the part of themselves that will make them whole: life is a journey for completion....all the perfectionism in my belief is just a metaphor for the need to complete ourselves the hunger to be whole and finished....to push us to the point of enlightenment/fusion with a greater force.....I'd like to think that this is the part of the year where we begin to think about the soul, and what is best for our development (be it personal or impersonal) It's 'what experience is necessary to push me further on to complete me?
.....chaos and order are forces that I think would definitely dominate here as well.....these forces are responsible for change/evolution (on a grand scale) and inertia (resistance to change).....I know myself that I have a tendancy to be destructive and provocative becuase I constantly change and am in pursuit of it. So think of this time as a period for a 'soul chrisalis' internal forces and external forces are used to shape the soul, and the person....but that person must take the initiative and direct their perspective to survive(be the best person they can be at the peak of their abilities) or die out(to fail miserably and become the cynical, bitter, vindictive type).....
