The Astrology Hall of Shame

in my never ending quest for truth, justice and no bullshit I feel there ought to be a public place for the airing of astro non-truths originating from the keyboards of "professionals"...

Sometimes I feel like somewhere out there there's one huge astrology text that every astrologer just plagiarizes. They always write that Geminis are great salespeople. That's pretty much the thing I'm the worst at doing...HATE to sell things.

Oh yeah, and apparently I'm prone to infidelity. What a nice thing to write about somebody. Thanks for warning everyone reading your book that they need to watch out for skanky Geminis.

I cringe reading the character description for Pisces sometimes. Basically someone should be holding our hand throughout life *sigh* I wish, I've pretty much done it all by myself. Both my parents used to work looong hours, so nice 3-4 I've been taking care of myself -AND my parents. It's not that they weren't there, they were too exhausted to watch me lol😛 Probably why I'm so responsible/reliable now, and carry a desperate fear of relying on people.

lol. Well, if it makes you feel any better, I read on rrtearoom.com that Regina Russell plainly says about Virgos "has the tendency to be unfaithful." At least with Geminis she said fickle and didn't just blatantly said, "Will cheat." LMAO!

As always I stand to be corrected and welcome any criticisms - I may be interpreting this incorrectly....

For horoscopes (and generalizations about Sun signs) I feel like they would only be 100% true if you were substantially one sign (ie/ Sun, Moon, Merc, Venus, Mars, Asc.), and the more you move away from this, the more mixed / inaccurate they'll get. I know that some days I read them, and it's freaky how accurate they are; but other days, nothing.

I can agree with the Leo salesperson comment. After ending phone calls with clients, I get random comments from co-workers telling me that I could sell anything. I don't even think about it - just kind of comes naturally.

Well,yeah. That`s just plain false every Libras can be a good artist.
Just being fascinated with art doesn`t mean they can become artist. It`s like saying every soccer fan can become a soccer player,lol.
Even entire birth chart thing can seem inaccurate at times, I looked up Mahatma Ghandi`s birth chart which had too many Scorpio planets.lol.

Scorpio definitely was not my best piece of ass ... I'm unclear why it is said that they are best in bed.

but Libras can be excellent bullshit artists... take TOC for example

Im a Leo and hate anything that says Leos are conceited and arrogant. No, Leos are very confident because usually they have a gift or a talent or are just remarkable, forgiving people. Leos feel pain too, Leos cry too. Everyone believes Leos are the stereo type so this is how we act. However, understanding a Leo beyond the surface we are very gentle, humble and a bit insecure. You'll never know and we'll never tell, but that's the truth.
