I totally believe in Karma. It is one of the few laws, arguably the only law of the universe. It has been remarketed numerous times i.e. Christianity sees it as heaven and hell, new agers call it the law of attraction but really it is all just the law of karma.

Karma isn't punishment. It is the return of energy expended. Positive energy returns as positive karma. Negative energy returns as negative karma. Oddly, karma is self-generating. It isn't punishment or reward handed out by God. It is how the soul governs itself.

I always smile when someone says, —karma will them for doing ME wrong.?? They never stop to think that maybe they are experiencing their own karma by being in the situation to begin with.

I see karma in effect all the time. Especially with people who hear of something happening that they could have stopped or spoke up against. But they didn't because it didn't happen to them. Next thing you know worse is happening to them and same cycle nobody cares. I have seen things like this happen esp at work.
Another thing is people who try to help others out always have some good samaritan around to help them when they're in trouble. I see some proof that the golden rule 'Treat others the way you want to be treated' works. Also I am aware that people aren't as good as they think they are. Because if they were they wouldn't witness something awful and just walk away like nothing happened. They wouldn't allow an innocent to suffer when they were in a position to speak up.
One example a boss I had saw an employee getting assaulted she didn't do anything didn't take action as the one in charge didn't reprimant. A month or so later she was asked to either resign or get arrested for something she possibly did not do. TRUE STORY

I have a hard time sitting back and letting Karma do it's magic. I want so badly to take things into my own capable little stinger 😉 and make things happen.
It's really hard for me to understand why bad people get away with things it's swept under the rug if *I* have the knowledge and the capability to have them pay their dues!! It's so tempting. Darn the Scorpion control!!

For example... My Libra ex cheated on me and another girl at the same time. I found out, ratted him out to her thinking she'd join in and dump his sorry butt too. She didn't believe me even though I had the damn proof right in front of her face (vulgar x rated texts messages to me) and she stayed with him! They are now engaged and the rotten bastard has since tried to get me to sleep with him... texting me vulagar x rated things. I have the proof! But did I tell her NO. And now they are getting married. He doesn't deserve her even though she's REALLY dumb. But I'm letting Karma take this one. It's just frustrating because it I could have delivered that swift kick in the butt to him but I didn't. *sigh*

i definitely believe in Karma, aka, "what goes around, comes around". i watched a mom rip her best friends kids away from her all based on lies. just a few years later, that same mother lost all 4 of her kids permanently. my father is also a prime example. he's forever making bad choices and never understands why his life is always messed up.

it's all about what we do, is what we get back. whether it's good or bad. different ppl have different names for it and also a different understanding of it. Karma, laws of nature, universal energy, "what goes around, comes around". it's all the same thing. Miss Karma at her best. 🙂

"Karma doesn't always have to relate to bad people getting paid back right away. Its more complex then that."

i agree. it never happens when WE want it to. it's not our place to judge who gets paid back when and where. that's up to Karma, laws of nature, The Higher Powers, whatever you want to call it. it's really your basic "cause and effect" principle. if you do something bad, you will get bad back, eventually. if you do something good, you will get good things back, eventually. no one will know when or where. not even for yourself. it's just up to us to recognize it when it does happen to us and learn our lessons in life.

I think this could be put along side the "Universal Law of Attraction". This law states: We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to--whether wanted or unwanted.

"As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7 It's interesting that the writer of this proverb says "thinks in his heart" because most of the time, we think that we think with our mind. However, it is truly from the heart where we do our thinking, our believing, our "vibrating".

It is from the heart that we attract. Picture your heart as a powerful magnet. The heart is the "vibrator" of all signals that attract.

Think of a radio. It has many different stations. To tune into a station you dial a specific frequency. As soon as we turn our attention to something (dialed it's frequency) it begins its journey to us.

To be rid of something you do not want in your life, simply tune in to a different vibration (frequency or radio station)--to something that you do want.

Jason, I am listening to The Secret right now and it is talking about the very issue you typed out.
