... an office full of men.

Or

The ONLY man in an office full of women.

Do you fall into one of these categories?

Do you like it, if you do... or not?

Why?

I used to work as an aircraft mechanic. Worked in a hanger with only men. Fun.

Wow... were you in the Air Force?
Yes, I had a factory job where I was the only female amongst probably a dozen males.

It was quite enjoyable. I Almost felt like Scarlett O'hara sitting under an oak tree surrounded by suitors Big Grin

I love working w mostly men . Women I've worked with have alwaaaaaays been catty and two faced or just really hard to develop relationships with. Guys r so easy I love to joke around and talk shit
My day job I work at a construction company in the office no so much fun though cuz I get hit on and approached DAILY
my other job I bartend my boss is a guy all of the staff are male except 3 waitresses (who I don't socialize with much haha)and 90% of my customers are men . I love it they're like family so much fun

story of my life

^^^^^^^ I went to all girl school for 12 years. I can enjoy being with female existence.

Due to Sag Venus and empty 11th house (ruler is in the first) my women are never so near to me that they could bother me. Or maybe I react very rapid. So we come quickly to take or break.

I guess women get often disappointed by each other because they expect much from each other. I mean pure friendship.

Yesterday my Virgo sister was about to talk warm about a Libra woman she got to know yesterday. I begged her to take a break and let the poor girl be normal and have weaknesses. Life is bipolar. Today she is her savior. One month later she is mean devil as fck.

I saw it and I agree with you. Had the same experience working in home health with all women. Much preferred working with all men.

Yeah bc you're a woman. You weren't really expected to follow the same unwritten, social protocols as the rest. If there was a line, you weren't standing in it, you were sort of soaring above it,figurably speaking. So of course you "preferred working with all the men". It's a completely different dynamic. It's fun being the accepted exception.

I've worked in both environmens , trust me, men are as catty as women if you bother to look with no gender-glasses on. Working with males only, after a while I felt like Serpico in a roomful of cops. I simply don't run in packs.

And like you, working solely with the opposite sex, the dynamics were different. Better, more relaxed: Nothing really applied to me. I didn't sense much cattyness either tbh, as in the case of cats and dogs, I guess men and women have different signals so it all rather flew under my radar. Likewise, I would imagine a woman working in an all-male environment won't take notice of the bs that goes on underneath the surface. You're on a social pedestal. Things don't really apply to you. You're soaring above it.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I like it.

Although I do miss be able to use detail when I talk.

I can't. .. eyes begin to glaze over.

Only woman, all men- there are pros and cons like any job. It pays the bills so I try to ignore any trivial gender issues.
Just gotta 'head down- bum up' it...
And yes, the glass ceiling is real lol
Been a single straight male in theatre for a few years. You're surrounded by women, gay men and are often quite intimate with each other especially while dancing.

Let's just say that an average male actor can still play big role whereas as a woman you really need to be the very best to even stand out. Men get away with much more shit as well.

It's a shame I was too much of an idiot back then. Some of these girls were really cute, openly flirted with me and I have even been asked out a few times.
But that is also part of the theatre world. Hot young people being right on top,of each other 24/7.
Some of the parties I've been to were quite hot and steamy. Winking

they say even the most famous cooks are male. how come?
I bet nurse of the year is more often a male. (just kidding. how do I know?)

My brother went back to school and got his

(I think it's called a) BN... BSN?

Idk but I'm sure he loves being surrounded by women.

I worked in a restaurant with all gay males and one other female. Best of both worlds
