Trying to get this

How does a planet positioned in a certain house and in a certain sign affect another planet in a different(?) sign and house. Let's say that you have your moon in capricorn(7th) and that it's conjunct neptune(same sign and house) and square uranus(scorpio(5th))

1. Is the moon influenced more by neptune or uranus in this case? Let's assume the orbs are identical and that both forces are aspecting or seperating.

2. Same question as in nr 1. but assume that instead of a conjunction, there is an opposition to neptune(cancer(1st))

2. How much capricorn is left?

3. In a case with a looot more aspects, could the original sign "drown" in the influences of other planets? Not totally, ofc, but...

4. In what way and how much is the moon affected by the fifth/1st house?

5. In what way and how much is the moon affected by the sign of scorpio/cancer?

6. In what way and how much is the moon affected by uranian/neptunian energies in both scenarios?

I know the above scenarios aren’t possible – just making theoretical examples.

I would really appreciate any input!

it just modifies the moon exactly how and by how much is up to you to figure out.

Problem is that I have been researching this for months and months and I still don't get it. To which source would you go to find the answers to this?
Oh dear. And here I was looking in the gardening section. Winking

No, seriously, Thanks! I guess I've been too impatient - it's like I've looked everywhere, it feels, so I decided to ask here as some sort of a last resort. Buuut I guess, back to digging...in my own personality and chart. I just wanted to take a more objective stance, reading theory, since there is the possibility of not seeing yourself perfectly clearly from the inside pov. smile

moon neptune coz conjunct is stronger

Thank you! I've read different opinions on this and was confused. smile

strongest influence:

1. sign of the moon
2. house of the moon
3. aspects of the moon

That's also what I thought. Thanks again! Really appreciate it! smile

i just keep reading until i see it. i think the only time i went this technical was when i was looking for the most significant aspect in my chart and i had my an astro chick help me out.

Oh. Hehehe. Well, I guess I really like to know the technical stuff and then apply them to real life just in case I would unconsiously interpret things to fit reality too much, rather than to hold the objective stance.

I just find theory confusing so I don't really have an answer for all those questions, but in short just wanted to add the position of planets in house affects their application to each other. If you had Neptune ahead of the Moon in the house (as in further ahead counter-clockwise) then Moon would be applying an aspect to Neptune, culminating rather than fading away from it (which would be if the Moon were ahead). But that's just an elaboration on the number 2 ands laid down.

Thank you so much! Just so I understand correctly, are we talking about applying vs. seperating forces here?

And that's also tied to the speed of the planets. If Moon is ahead of Neptune in the chart then frankly the most important thing would be Uranus' application to Neptune out of all three.

That makes sense! Thank you!

Yeah application of aspects (or application of light in classical).
