Venus question...

I am an aquarius, and my friend is a capricorn. I noticed that in my chart, I have venus in capricorn and my new "friend" has venus is aquarius. I was wondering if that was a good thing, or odd that we had each others sun signs in venus.

Thank you very much for sheding some light on this for me...yes, I am looking for a way to better understand him, mostly because he is so different from the people I have chosen to be around in the past, somehow i have a predispositon for sag's and libras...so a cap is very different territory for me.
