One month reflecting? What if those reflections are inclined to bring sorrow with them? Oh no, I can't have this... so depressing.
This bloody falls at a time when I have some major deadlines that could change my life AND I've been considering getting in touch with someone who hurt me - to get closure. I don't have a choice on the first matter, the second matter however.

I was pretty affected during the mercury retrograde (I have a mercury retrograde in my chart though) so I wonder if this venus retrograde will affect me too. There's nothing really going on in my romance life right now though. Except that I just stopped talking to this one guy I was seeing for a bit

I'm going to wait and see if any guys from my past come back to see if this venus retrograde actually stirs up drama for me hahaa. I just read a few articles on the venus retrograde, and I just realized that the pre-shadow period started at the end of January, and that was when I started to lose interest and feelings in romantic affairs, and when I started to question my future love life/whether I'll meet that right person. Also a day ago, I had the most vivid dream that me and a guy from my past that I ended things with were dating again and it was just so weird.

but then again, who knows - perhaps something good comes from it. Never say never.... but it sounds like your subconsciences has been warming up eh? Yeah, love just went sour at the end january, and now comes the aftermath. It could be good.

I'm entering a state of reflection on relationships and myself right now, and I don't feel like I want anything to do with guys lol. But at the same time I'm wasting my time on Tinder right now just mindlessly swiping and talking to people, I don't even know why my actions are contradicting my own thoughts ?

Venus = love/feelings/money.
Now, love and money (career/education/wishes/desires) are matters that already mess up the head, and a month prone to extra reflection on these = a mind working overtime. Passive on the outside but active on inside... Passive-active? Then of couse there are those who go active and make possible bad decisions (the season of the ghosts)

Personally, I don't have the mental capacity for that shit right now, and I'm forced to make some active choices regarding my future career in that period... so I'm just gonna run into it and see where it takes me, I don't have a choice. It made me realize that Gem ex decided to break up with me over the last Venus retrograde period.
We had no contact for about one year, but I have seen him (and danced with him) recently. We'll be seeing each other at Salsa for as long as I want to dance. This Venus retrograde goes back towards his Pisces moon.

OP Venus Retrograde at its best is meant to be a time of analyzing and learning from your past and current relationship shizz. To overcome and resolve challenges you've faced, truly.
For you, I personally think it means you're supposed to just let go. You're going back to the past because of the retrograde, but that is wrong. The past went wrong for a reason. Don't look back unless fate forces you to face that person against your attempts to run away.
Let go. If anything Venus Retrograde is the perfect time for new beginnings. You can have better than anything you had before.
