The Nodes are the points where the Moon's orbit intersect the plane of the ecliptic. They are always 180 degrees apart and refer to the North and South nodes. They are purely mathmatical and do not refer to any planetary body.

In Astrology, the North Node refers to the direction that offers the most growth. While this direction is the most intimidating, it is also the direction with the most possibility for growth and learning.

I personally do not believe in astrology. But, even if you do believe in this, before relying on the nodes to provide any information or direction, ask yourself what works for you.

I feel that the intention with the nodes is more than anything, direction. Most people need direction. Direction is an anchor and a way to approach your life.

If the nodes seem to work for you and have helped you to consider some new and different options in your life, great. But, I wouldn't put any stock on them in dictating how you should approach your life. If you want to consider the nodes as a direction to live, if you find some directions within them that can help you to figure out what you want to do, great.

But, bare in mind that even in Astrology, they are simply guides. What works for you is what really matters.

I identify more with Scorpio, and Aquarius....the whole idea behind Virgo it seems is to 'dummy down' and 'play weakling' I want to be apart of something that dosen't 'inhibit' the personality from pursuing all that it is, will, or can be. There just dosen't seem to be any real strength based off OTHER people's interpretations. Luckily for the Virgo, I know it's all fake.
