I think about Taurus or Câncer placements, tooclick to expand
Posted by EnochtheWiseI had an experience with a Venus Taurus in the 2nd house, very lovely but a little bit shallow and superficial (Moon cj Mars Gemini in the 3rd)
Venus in Taurus, right where it belongs...taught me the meaning of "making love"...
Posted by SoulOfABirdYeah, kinda accurate too...but they have a fame for being stable, reliable and lovely.Posted by EnochtheWiseI would disagree. Taurus are rather into looks and the materialist, so they are rather a bit superficial. They want their lover to be physically attractive, which in my opinion, isnt loving the person for who they are. That's not all there is to them.

not my experience at all...but I'm not disagreeing with your's....if you've had one? And I want my lover to be physically attractive too. I don't think that makes me superficial at all. I think that's just honesty. Its not the most important thing for me, and my idea of beauty is not the same as others, but have I ever wanted to sleep with a woman I did not find physically attractive? Definitely not....
For these kinds of convos, I'm sure it depends on the individual firstly, the rest of the synastry and so much more....Virgo/Taurus is a very good connection IMO and I have Venus in Virgo so I've always chalked it to that, plus it always made sense that the energy of Venus would express most naturally through the sign of its rulership. But for me, the eye contact, the emotional connection, the rhythm, *every* sense engaged and indulged....a thing of beauty....click to expand

Now Im wondering how would be a person with Sun cj Venus in Taurus 2nd house.click to expand

Not saying that others are fake but most of the placements love something about the lover...
Aries - Love the chase
Gemini - Love variety or someone who provide variety
And so on...
But what placement has the purest form of love? Like loving someone for who he/she really is?
I dont know if my point is clear

Posted by EnochtheWisePosted by lisabethur8my merc is Libra. I don't consider myself shallow. I've felt that women, who others think were just average or below, were the most beautiful thing to look at, when I've been in love....physical attraction is more of a dynamic thing for me, and I think it is for everyone; we just don't always realize it or acknowledge it....if a woman can stimulate my mind, she just really does become hotter to me to even look at....her expressions, personality, humor - it all bleeds into the physical for me....Posted by EnochtheWisePosted by SoulOfABirdPosted by EnochtheWiseI would disagree. my husband has Sag mercury, like yours and he is very honest. He has told me, very very honestly and bluntly,i won't get with a woman who isn't very attractive. i' m super shallow there. lol it's how it is.
OTOH, a woman could be the most physically attractive woman I've ever seen, and if she doesn't stimulate my mind, or pique my curiosity, have an air of mystery about her, or any other number of things just beyond the looks, I can feel literally nothing physical or sexual towards her when I look at her....click to expand
Posted by EnochtheWiseI have 3 close Taurus Sun friends and currently dating one. They are very caring, lovely and loyal...but all of them give too much credit to physical beauty, they wouldnt date someone who is hot, most of us wouldnt but my point is that beauty is on the top of their list. IDK if all Taurus are like these btwPosted by raad182You're talking about your experience with the sun sign though. You have close Taurus sun friends and you think they are shallow? ...if I'm being honest, I have found some of the women in my life to be a bit shallow, but then there are the one's that aren't, and are very deep people....Taurus peeps have so much depth in general - very creative and intellectually deep people though I rarely see that mentioned on these astro sites....and I just know that from some of my relationships with the males. One I lived with all of my life is without a doubt the deepest person I know, but in ways he shares with maybe two people in his life....and I'm not talking about just emotional depth. I've learned more about my self from my bull brother than anyone....Posted by EnochtheWiseBut Taurus is the one that plays Hot or Not game...kinda superficial IMOPosted by SoulOfABirdPosted by EnochtheWiseI would disagree. Posted by raad182Same here. When I love nothing is worth losing it, esp not some other dude or basic disconnected sex-I cant think of anything worse.
I know a Libra Sun/Mars, Cap Moon, Virgo Venus dude who wouldnt cheat on his GF even if his mother's life depends on it but he does judge by the physical beauty too.
