I have Venus in Taurus 12th house and I really have physical beauty (high) standards.
I know a Libra Sun/Mars, Cap Moon, Virgo Venus dude who wouldnt cheat on his GF even if his mother's life depends on it but he does judge by the physical beauty too.

what i love about Taurus, (is very very similar to Scorpio)
is that they will fall for a beautiful woman, who is fit and gorgeous, but after babies, and menopause, and old age, they will STILL love you forever!!! even if you get bigger. They will stay with you cause they chose you (this is just like Scorpio imo) and because their love is very deep...

if you have strong fire/air in your chart. i think personally this is what happens.
edit --- i think too is confidence. if you're a confident man, youre gonna get pretty ladies, and if you're a smart confident man, you're gonna get pretty and smart ladies.
but it's really hard to pinpoint. Taurus is ruled by Venus after all.
