I despise families...

It 'was' a very interesting loving relationship, solitas..*they balanced out each others strengths & weaknesses. I will always think many of the best relationships are between Fire & water.. ~the fairy-tale combination.. 🙂

Tall Dark and ARies your mom and dad mustve lasted pretty long like mines, though they split eons ago cause my father is an asswipe.

Hahaha nope it was never like that at all. They seem to understand each other very well & they never raise their voice at each other. They're like best friends.. they have so much to talk about & seem to share the same taste in everything. Even after all these years they still hold hands when they go out.

Married for 25 years and got divorced. Always loved each other but my father was an alcoholic and my mother finally drew the line. Even though she loved him. Gotta respect my mom for that objective outlook on what is best for her and us versus what she really wanted which was to make it work between them.
