Well I am a Scorpio
go figure ...I believe "they said it one of our faults".
I think jealousy in tiny doses is good for the relationship, as it makes a person feel valued in a twisted kind of way
Personally, when in a relationship, I feel that it's completely non-sense for my partner to be jealous of me because I feel that I'm 100% committed. My ex cap man after we broke up end up with an aries woman , she could not even tolerate my name being pronounce in the house
that's how jealous she was??? it was crazy..
I know some crazy Aries woman and Pisces woman that will literally hurt you for their significant others?

The people I've met who display jealous tendancies towards their partners are Scorpios, Aries and Cancers (both genders).
The people I've met who display jealous tendancies towards other people of the same gender that they envy are Gemini females, and Virgo females.

It depends on what type of jealousy you're inquiring about.
I get jealous when it comes to relationships (friends, family, boyfriends), but I don't express it outwardly.
I do not feel jealousy towards those who have looks or possessions I wish to covet. I admire them, and either work hard to attain what they have, or accept that I am different and no less important.

wow, i concur with your analysis, JS ..except maybe for capricorn, but yeah almost identical..
i would say a lil tamer for sag fire too ..i'm thinking it would take alot for these jovial centaurs to feel the big green monster; more perhaps if there's a lil mix of water creeping into their charts..lol

CANCER, LEO & SCORPIOS have MASTERED the art of Jealousy. BUT, there are different types of jealousies so...
There's Jealous as in POSSESIVE of everything & everybody
There's Jealous as in ENVIOUS of others because of low-self esteem
There's Jealous as in EGO factors (E.I. "My girlfriend makes more money than me"
There's Jealous as in "I wanted to be the center of attention, but someone else stole the spotlight"
There's jealous as in TOO curious (Always asking questions/supsicions about everybody)
It all depends & I think all of these signs SHOW their jealousy differently

So having an ego automatically correlates with jealous ways KR7? An Aquarian friend of mine and I were having the same type of conversation, and wouldn't ya know, EGO/PRIDE came up! lol Why so adverse to personal affect? No will? In fact, being a FIXED sign, I would think that you would be stuck on some aspect of yourself, in Aquarius' case their thoughts/ideas....
Well I suppose it should then be said that one should. get more rational/detatched about things and realize what is out of their control, and they won't take it as personally....so what if your girl makes more money than you?? Does she enjoy her life like you do yours? I mean, as long as you have a job and you're contributing some way that's what matters...
Personally, when I think of jealousy, I think of INFERIORITY, i.e. (someone a person has control over you and illicits a response in you to feel a sense of lacking in self: what a major upset!) and that abso-fuckin-lutely DISGUSTS me....I refuse to feel inferior becuase it just isn't so....jealousy is beneath me, but I have an ESPECIALLY hard time with it when it arises, but I try ususally to rise above it...
btw, any relationship, and I mean ANY realationship that is based off jealousy will turn sour QUICKLY if the love isn't pure, than it will be tainted and will turn into selfish possession for the other person...jealousy is only good if the person behind those reigns is in control and can rise above those feelings...you know the story, the two lovers fall in love, co habitate, and it's good for a while, but then the guy/gal gets jealous, when they don't have control of the mates often wondering eye...you get jealous becuase you rely on an outside force to mediate/control your feelings.....i.e. you're man/womans gaze on you to tell you that you are attractive...when in fact, you should KNOW that you are attractive, that's confidence, and jealousy is a lack of confidence....
You're blaming someone else for your lack of personal confidence, and responsibility/duty to yourself.....that's what jealousy at heart is, and it really has no place in my life, and anyone I'm going to be with....jealous ones need not apply.....jealousy in my belief is synonomous with selfishness....loving the person for your emotional wellbeing....to make YOU feel good....instead you should want to provide, and protect, and give to the other peroson, sure you have needs, but when you have faith in a trustworthy person, you're needs will be met.

jealousy in and of itself is NEVER good....it's a negative emotion that hinders if it is left to run rampant in a person's life....I think jealous people (people primarily ruled by jealous/retalitory impulses) are immature emotionally....anyone who has CONTROL over themselves can let go, and knows feeling jealous is pointless, and can be corrected with a little introspective thinking: 'Why do I feel this way?' 'is it necessary or based on something real or imagined?'

Did you read my example? The example I used for jealousy when it comes to the EGO can be interpreted many different ways. I have a friend who's in a relationship with a man who treats her well, lets her have all the friends in the world (female AND male), & who doesn't have the normal "jealous" streak in the relationship. BUT, when it comes to her career he is VERY jealous because she makes wayyyy more money than him. He was raised in a traditional household, where he was raised to believe that the men should make more money than women & on top of that, actually take care of the woman financially while she stays at home & takes care of business. That is the only issue they have with eachother. He has told her before that his EGO (considering how some of society still believes in a man's superiority with money) still exists, even though deep down he knows it's a good thing for his wife to make money & have her own career----he just wishes HE was the one in her shoes when it comes to who makes the most money. When she brings him around her family members, they all look at him as if he's sort of a BUM, but not because he's literally a job-less loser, but because they're suprised that they both have the same exact career, but yet she makes more money than him, while being younger & less experienced than him. So YES, that is a form of EGO-jealousy.

I never said having an EGO meant you are jealous. But some people that have BIG EGOS feel inferior to others in certain senses when they feel their "manhood" is being tested or stepped on. There is the defintion of EGO & then there is the definition of JEALOUSY (which are 2 different paragraphs) BUT, when talking about jealousy, ego can play a factor

"feel inferior to others in certain senses when they feel their "manhood" is being tested or stepped on"
In case scenerio .. it doesn't sound like this is because his ego is too big, for he is happy for his wife to have a career ..
"he knows it's a good thing for his wife to make money & have her own career"
This feeling smaller than her isn't coming from ego .. it's coming from abused by others with his pride ...
"When she brings him around her family members, they all look at him as if he's sort of a BUM, but not because he's literally a job-less loser, but because they're suprised that they both have the same exact career, but yet she makes more money than him, while being younger & less experienced than him."
Any person, no matter their gender, status, or age .. would feel worthless compared to their partner if this partner's family members were treating him like shit.

KR7:when talking about jealousy, ego can play a factor
sure! and I'd slap ya on the back in TOTAL agreeance.....but so can generally having a feeling of attachment to something...does that mean we stop feeling or wanting all together? So we should drop all feeling of personal positive feeling becuase they can become negative and manifest in ways such as jealousy?....No, we take responsibility for our OWN short-commings, and we learn to tame those feelings and surmount them....everyone is responsibile emotionally for their own well-being, and anyone running away from that fact, is just plain sad....

Actually sags.
I have not seen any one as jealous as sags.
To some extent, my dad who is a virgo is jealous.
My scorp mom is NOT jealous but possesive.

Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces, Aries, Leo, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.
In order from most likely to get jelous to least likely.
I think earth signs can be very possessive (not necessarily envious) ... coming from a virgo sun, taurus moon, capricorn rising & mars in capricorn.
what's mine is mine, hands off.

I'm Leo and I don't get jealous of people per say....my boyfriend has to really push the boundaries to get me jealous of other woman and my friends are free to have millions of other friends...I do get jealous though, when someone has something better or has done something better than me. More a competitive kind of jealously as opposed to possessive.

Taurus, Scorpio, and Cancer.
Cancer hides it more though.
Speaking from experience, scorpio. I'm a leo and I used to get extremely jealous. It was related to self-esteem for me though.

My good cancer male friend is CRAZY jealous. He threatens men *with his new gun, its getting worst) who so as looks in the same direction as his girlfriend. He claims his SCORPIO girlfriend made him that way. She needed him to be jealous in order to feel loved so now he plays the part, but it was definitely there to begin with.
She has always been jealous and completely alienated him from everyone he knew. The only reason we can talk is b/c im far away...
There both very immature and young and are planning to be married.I feel its a HUGE mistake. *shrug*
