Why

I’d like to put forth a question. I’ve seen a few posts in which a question is stated, and users will often say “it has nothing to do with astrology”. Well, this is an astrology board, and people ask questions to discover what it could be about their astrology chart that leads to a certain behavior. It’s understandable that some of you don’t look deep into astrology, but why drag other people down for wanting to look into it? I get that there are sensitive subjects that make people think it’s not PC to discuss them astrologically, but people who study astrology actually find specific occurrences in charts that contribute to behaviors, like violence and abuse. When people come here specifically asking about how such behaviors relate to a chart, it seems quite silly to right off the bat say astrology has nothing to do with it. Especially when you haven’t done any research yourself.

I already kind of know the answer, which is that people generally don’t like to think negative attributes are predetermined, but that’s just a personal opinion. There are people who don’t mind the notion that a chart defines us to some extent, and those people generally feel like more knowledge helps them find the tools to recover from a problem or make changes to their lives.

I would just like to put forth a suggestion that if someone is showing a desire to connect with astrology, it’s not anyone’s place to say it won’t help.
