Better to keep it light n fun. Trust me, doing the sharing of past fears, secrets, pains with someone and then they turn their back on you is worse.
Cos when you're a try-hard, everything will seem harder than usual.
I have had theses unintentionally. I believe it starts with you. It started with me... so, I drew it to me. It starts with you. It's starts independently and then it is shared, and if you both choose, it becomes one... greater than the two.
If the power and depth is naturally strong in you, you will influence quite naturally.

You can't really ask for these things. It has to be natural and it has to be the choice of each individual. It's also not rational so you can't have apply logic to it. To go deep and soul merging means going into the basement where you keep your dirtiest clothes. How often do you want to go there? How often do you want to take someone there?
And you need to be a good listener. Fortunately I've never been in a love relationship that wasn't deep. And I have many friends that just open up with me. That talk about their intimate relationships, their failures, their professional struggles. But I never ask anything before. And even then probably I won't say much. They will know much better than I do how to deal with it. Sometimes it takes three conversations for a friend to actually open up on a subject. But again I probably never asked or judge anything. Just let it things happen really.

Posted by raad182Do these people have a lot of air in their charts? There's nothing wrong with having fun. Playing together can lead to much deeper bonding. No one likes to be probed too deeply. Become friends first and the rest should follow. Not to over simplify the problem. I have a 12th house Venus too, in Pisces so I want to bond right away with someone I like/love but waiting and just having fun has its rewards. Be patient if you can.

True soul merging happens when both people want it and when both people are open to it. If you can feel each others energy. I think there has to be this connection on a soul level first, because that connection quickly creates the intimacy and mutual trust that is necessary to open up on such a deep level. In order to open up about your deepest fears and struggles, you have to trust someone 100% .
I think fun and light doesn't have to exclude that relationship on a deep level, I think they can exist together. It's not so black and white. Souls want to have fun too, and when you connect on a soul level, it also means that the love and happiness is shared and felt on that intense level. This creates the balance that you need to keep the relationship going, or else the relationship would feel heavy and "too much".
So if people tell you they want to keep things fun and light, they are probably:
1) not ready to trust you 100% to open up about their deepest feelings
2) not connecting with you on that soul level
3) not into a relationship on a deep level
Just my thoughts.....
You can have still have fun & light moment with someone when your emotions run deep.
All about establishing the balance.

It's truly hard to find a person that will deeply mesh together with you forever. You won't know till after the mask from the beginning of the relationship fades, and you both realize you are exactly the same deep down. True soul connection is not impossible, but hard. It will take time, and be risky. Like you said you have to go into it not really caring what happens in the end, and just go with it.
