Have you read a book and found yourself identifying with a character?

Please give book title, author, and decription.

Can you relate to the character astrologically?

I identify with Pie Oh Pah from Clive Barker ' s Imajica. It is from a race of adrogynones called mystifs. It is a shape shifter that responds to erotic desire by becoming whatever is project by upon it - it can be a female or male. Pie is also an assassin.
Sounds like an interesting read, I would have to say cersei Lannister and I have everything down pat except for the incest part though I am really close with my little brother and I'm a lot less of a fuck up than she is, I would smh a lot when reading her chapters and mutter rookie move bitch under my breathe which is what I tell myself when I fail at things
Ur pic is cute Venus lol
Jessa from Girls most times, but when I feel insecure, those times I feel like closest to the character "Socially awkward penguin"

Yes, Liz Gilbert from Eat, Pray, Love

I felt and identified her need to break free from the constraints of a humdrum/unfulfilling marriage and travel, become independent and find spirituality through meditation etc. i even did the younger guy thing like she did, but am not ready for the guy at the end of the book/movie yet smile

Interestingly the actress is a Scorpio and the younger man was played by an Aries (my last relationship being with a younger Aries guy)

Life imitating art, maybe?

:-))

Star, I saw that movie and did not get to know her very well as she was just experiencing... travel and life. I spent more time absorbing her experiences.

What book? What author?
In my mind I could be a mixture of Luna Lovegood and Jane Eyre.
When I was 17 I thought it would be Esther in "the bell jar" from Sylvia Plath. But with a little difference.

In my early 30ies I thought it would be Kate in "Every Woman Loves a Russian Poet". But with lots of differences too.

Now when I look back at my life I think it is Annette Rivière in "L'Ame enchantée". Also with some differences.
I haven't had the experience yet. So, therefore, I'll keep on reading. lol However, I read in order to escape, so I select books that are off of my gender/social/cultural/time period map. When I want to read about myself, I read my journal.
love the topic smile

Ty'iga, a bodiless demon, a shapeshifter who serves to protect, but falls in love with the one she protects... from "Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny
Sir Walter Scott's historical novel " Ivanhoe " .. There's a character named Rebecca, the daughter of Isaac of York. She reminds me myself whenever I read this book. Her actions are the same I would ever take if i had the same situations, her thoughts, feelings, attitudes , I see myself in everything she does.
