Posted by NotmyrealnameI've done Naked Lunch by Burroughs, but only because I was curious after reading Basketball Diaries (which I lent to an ex and never got back).
Not 100% my type, but similar would be naked lunch by Burroughs, or similar sort of beat gen. genre era maybe Kerouac? Bret Easton Ellis is a little darker but similar vein I think? Ooorrrrrrrrrrrrrr go for what I personally think is cooler Vonnegut 😁🙌
And you just reminded me I haven't finished Slaughterhouse Five - I will probably take that on my vacation.

On at extreme level I don't know of any female writers who can be compared with Charles Bukowski.
Or maybe I just don't know of any.

I was in a bad space and got attracted to some bad people basically. Some romsntically some on a friend level.
I woke up slowly and have cut all of them out of my life. One ended with a very clear conflict, and me now multiple times saying no to wanting
