We've gotten very close. Very close. Even started talking openly about our feelings and would sometimes exchange very emotional emails. I love this, but it also scares me because I don't want to lose his friendship. I am afraid that faced with the intensity of his feelings and the impossibility of us being together for now and maybe indefinitely, he will choose to quit keeping in touch. I myself considered it, but decided to continue frequent contact because we are above all friends, and I really like talking to him about things that interest me. I know ppl in love always say that sort of shit, but I know what I am talking about, have thought about it hard and long.
We share a rare and very intense connection, even on a purely platonic level. Sounds like a clich?, I know, but it's true. Bottom line, I'd like to keep in touch no matter what. I'd rather forgo the possibility of being together than mess up our friendship permanently. Maybe it's already damaged because of the feelings we have for each other. Hope not.
Any suggestions on how to handle the situation? Just curious what your feedback may be. I know I have no control over anything but my actions, but want to make sure my actions are in line with my intentions. Crabs are so delicate and easily overwhelmed by emotion. I may lose him regardless, but want to make sure I am giving our friendship my best shot. And then again, as you might have guessed already, when we do share our feelings and as we do get dangerously close, I thrive on the exchange. Anyway, bottom line is, I don't want to lose his friendship. If we are meant to be, we'll be.
So obviously I am rambling, but yeah, I would appreciate your feedback. And keep the bitchy, sarcastic comments to yourself. Unless you're really funny and know a thing or two about sarcasm : )
P.S. I am still not sure about the whole astrology thing, but there are some things that seem to ring true. Kind of.
