I would say that statement itself was written by a cancer, as cancers tend to see and abuse their own hallucinations that they are martyrs.

Obviously, it's a very general statement and doesn't apply to all, but I somewhat agree. It's not that we are necessarily manipulating, it's just no one is going to make me do something I don't want to do or feel something I do not want to feel, therefore I always "win" because I'm in "control"??_ Does that make sense to anyone else??
