Why all the negativity between the ppairing of these two. Im an Aries man and asolutely adore my cancer girlfriend. I have never dated someone so loyal and supportive. I've read that this relationship Aries can get bored.... I tell you what... I've had so much drama in my life from past relationships.. having someone that is going to love and care for me unconditionally is what Im looking for. Someone who will be loyal... These are all charactaristics of the Cancer...Ill take it, thank you very much!

Finally a positive note about an aries-cancer relationship!
I'm so glad about that! And I'm also happy you've found your cancer-girl, purplehaze!
I think this relationship can be a very rewarding one, for both parties.
I just went jogging with my aries friend. We get along really well, we have loads of fun, we can rely on each other, but we don't limit one another's freedom.
We have the best time teasing each other, I could watch him for hours and there's an enormous attraction and intimacy.

So no negativity here!! 🙂

One of my best friends is an Aries and she is dependable and hard working, kind and generous with me. I give her the emotional support that she is missing in her life and I show her how to have fun with her life. She has a lot of drama in her life and career so you might have something there. We seem to compliment each other very well, so I totally can see it working for you.

It seems like the best relationships for me are where my gifts of loyalty, calmness in the storm and a soft shoulder to lean on are appreciated the most by hard driven people who need that in there life and I benefit from their structure and objectivity into my life in return.

Good luck purplehaze!

Awwwh tda, she was just toying with you and you probably made her feel good that you were attracted. Maybe she's fantasizing.....if things don't work out.....maybe that cute tall dark and aries guy would be fun.

Just think of it as a fun encounter. For me, I have to be somewhat unsatisfied with my man and like someone a lot before I allow any flirting. Remember a cancer is loyal unless they feel unappreciated and missing the love. So take heart, maybe she really did care but she wouldn't do anything about it out of loyalty to her man. Then again....you should go with your own instincs cause I am only guessing here. Shameless that she didn't tell you sooner though.

cancer women and aries men have a better chance than the other way around - because aries likes to play prince charming, and cancer likes that. The problem becomes the independence of aries women - it is intimidating for cancer men who like to be the man of the house, the strong provider. Unless the aries woman has some strong placements in more stables signs her flirtiness and argression will most likely leave the cancer man feeeling unloved [whther he is or not] remember these are very suspicious and self deprecating people....but as long as the aries man doesn't become too domineering or too flirty with other women [they love the attention of women - even random ones just for the sake of it]then he can make the cancer woman feel like a fairy tale princess.

PLEASE READ, MY UPDATE ON CANCER MAN AND ARIES WOMAN!!!
i had an email update regarding aries and cancerian on this website, cannot believe i left a message dated 11/13/2006!

well i have to share my progress with my cancerian man.
things have definately changed, we had a fall out and it was his fault but he it scared him that he may lose me cos i got angry with him. since then he has become the perfect boyfriend and now our relationship is amazing.
i read on a website, aries and cancerians are the most opposite signs and to begin with it a case of opposite attracts but then it goes downhill! but if you manage to survive the 1st year, then the relationship can stand to last a lifetime and a happy one at that.

my bf and i are opposite signs yet its frightening that we are so similar in many ways, we say the same things and eat the same things. he does calms me down alot as he is more sensible than me, even tho i am 14yrs older than him! he says we are the best and strongest couple around.

he has now let me into his life totally and is totally committed to me.he has an engagement ring for me and want to start family and we are looking for a home.

he is very unique like me, and we share the same dreams. i am so glad i didn walk away from my perfect match. so be patient with the cancerian man and you will be rewarded with lots of love!

i'm aries, he's cancer. he's 5 years younger. we started long distance. we've been together two years now, married and happy as little clams. do i get bored sometimes. yep. he's intuitive and seems to be able to read when i need some excitement. he makes me feel safe and loved and spoiled. i make him feel sexy and alive and draw him out. the sex is beyond hot, i'm all wyld and chase him, and my over the top libido and chasing him make him feel desired and craved. all cancer men crave to be craved. we have some issues, like all couples, but i watch my sharp tongue and he tries new things as frequently as is comfortable for him, and it's all good.

Seems like someone doesn't want it to work by posting as much negative as possible...

Well here you go 1st hand.

According to my aries man and my own combination of western and chinese zodiac we are supposed to be soulmates.

I love him dearly. He said he never had a woman love him just for who he is. Plus, he never had one that didn't jump because of the money opportunities he possessed. He wasn't use to unconditional love. A lot of the extras an Aries may have is not for competition like other articles may state but for options just incase the love is conditional.

He had a lot of virgos and capricorns in his past. Not that's bad but both are more practical and are pleased with material goods. Also, both keep options like Aries making it seem conditional (when it may be the same fear). Capricorns love an outer circle first which may seem insincere to Aries. With the virgos, he didn't know until later that sex is not as significant as status security. He felt he had been a victim to women that knew of his money potential and used his easily given passion to get it. Being an Aries, he's so passionate upfront and swallows compliments like juice. He never thought that the women may have been preying on him.

Cancers are nurturers and connect with someone's soul 1st (even tho that's the problem they have giving themselves).

It works once the two see that their intentions are both good. Being both secretive, they may be suspicious of each other. Cancer has to see that Aries is a child of nature so, they don't easily trust people in their day to day world. Then the brash Arien will protect them more than bully. Cancer is just a hermit crab by nature so, they stay in a shell that protects their soft-meated heart. Cancers are the most sensitive sign because their motto is "I feel." They feel everything first so they need the shell. The weird connection is that both protect everyone else around them before themselves. Rams fight for the underdog while Cancers fight for their children (apply to each others sign).
After finding one another out, the Cancerian will let the Aries inside the shell others don't get to enter (very erotic, playful, and nurturing) and the Aries will feel like they are in a safe guarded playground.

The empire state building was built by a Arien man and his Cancer wife. Together the two will say forget everyone else and do it in big way. You end up with an aggressive, business ram and his creative, marketing partner. The Ca

well you can't MAKE it not work out by posting negative comments - people are just pointing out the pitfalls that tend to not make it work out.
If you and your aries are happy together then what do you care if someone else had a bad experience? they have as much right to say it didn't work out for them as you have to say it HAS worked for you.
If anything people are helping by giving advice on what to look out for.

there are pitfalls to any relationship. we all know that. it's true, the cancer aries can be a tough one at times. i'm living it now. my husband says tho, when it's good, it's GOOD! for us, the biggest problems we face are with regard to secrecy, and self protection. my husband tends to withhold his emotions sometimes. he's been told in the past he was aloof and emotionless. uh-uh, i told him that i recognize that he's just being self protective. inside those eyes is a whirlpool of stuff going on. some things have happened that have made him realize he has to talk things thru with me, the stuff he doesn't want to drag out into the light. the emotions he's not comfortable with showing. realizing that i accept him is an amazing thing and it's making us closer. i'm an aries, i don't bother to hide, but plop it right on out there! it seems that cancer is so afraid to be hurt, to be judged and found wanting that i makes opening up soooo hard for them. much harder than for many others. i'm not bothered by non acceptance. i always figure i'll be moving on soon anyway. sigh. cancer and aries IS difficult, and i get on his nerves with my zany exhubrence, and sometimes he irritates me cause he's being so placid. i feel he lacks adventure and he thinks i need more focus. this is one of those relationships that definitely needs communication, and it often takes effort to understand one another, and a purposeful committment to learning the best ways to be with each other during the weird times. his moody withdrawals, my restless boisterous days. it can work.

just because a relationship doesn't work out doesn't mean you can't be friends - and just because you are great friends doesn't mean you want the same things in a relationship.
No one said that the zodiac has to be split into groups and those groups only interact with each other..... but a love relationship is VERY different than any other - there are things you can/will tolerate in your friends, family, and even co-workers that are not acceptable from the one you spend your life with.

it's one thing i've noticed about aries cancer is that they definitely have the capacity to be good friends. esp. if of the opposite sex. there seems to be some balance there. and yes, i believe the key thing is to clearly and openly talk about the things that you won't tolerate. this was something my husband and i did before marriage. we made some basic vows. we've had a few issues come up recently, and are working thru them. the key is that i'm LIStening to him. i'm actually listening, hearing what he says, and instead of making snap judgements and rushing to recriminations, i'm saying "tell me what you honestly want and need in your life. honestly and with complete candor." it's the only way i can be equipped to properly decide where we go from here. his ex wife trained him to think that he wouldn't be accepted if he showed the less than admirable traits. she only liked the perfect parts of him. he's coming to realize that for me, the quirks are what draw me in. i personally believe friendship comes first, it has too. no relationship will last and be satisfying without that. you have to really LIKE someone to stay together for a long time. and respect. i don't think it should be "hard work" but it does take some effort to fit with someone else. each sign has their particular weaknesses that play into this. i've learned his and try to factor that in.

I feel every relationship takes work (maybe even hard work) from time to time if for no other resson than healthy people continue to grow and growth brings change and the handmadien to change is conflict. Resolution of conflict takes work. That said, if at the end of the day you are working hard to hold the relationship together and the relatioship is becoming less satisfactory there may be other forces at play and they should be evaluated.

cancer.snake, you have echoed almost word for word what my husband says. btw-he's a cancer-cock. i always chuckle when i say THAT!! yes, i guess there will be ocassional moments of hard work. and yes, as cancer is so damn mutable and all over the place, it's inevitable that change and it's resultant conflict will arise. i think that changeability tho is part of why we work pretty well. i like variety. he can't help but be various. and i believe hanging on to relationships is a cancer mainstay. it's where i fail. he's great cause he holds on when i try to slip away for no good reason other than being stubborn. so, while we are currently having an issue, the overall status is still that we're the best each other has ever had. quite a motivator.
