Cancer guy disappeared on me

There's this guy that I've met on a dating site who is a Cancer sun, Pisces Moon, Mercury and Venus in Leo plus Mars in Capricorn. I'm not 100% sure of his other placements but his birthday is June 27, 1986 and he was born in Virginia. I don't know his time of birth!

I'm an Aquarius sun, Scorpio Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Capricorn. My birthday is January 26, 1992 and I was also born in Virginia.

We've been hitting it off since we first messaged each other, but he disappeared on me and it's been a week since I last heard from him. He pursued me and was the first to admit that he liked me, which is kind of different for a Cancer guy to do maybe it's the fire placements? We would talk every night and it was like I could really tell he liked me. Even looking back at the old messages I can see there is no disinterest from him. He even said he wanted to meet up with me when he moves back because he currently lives in West Virginia. I know he doesn't have the best amount of money but that doesn't bother me at all. I know the last time he disappeared he said they were having trouble with connection because it also doesn't help that he steals wifi that's available around him. There were times where he wouldn't talk to me for a night or two, but when he did talk to me he made sure to let me know what happened either beforehand or after.
I made sure to reassure him that I wanted to meet up with him and that I liked him too so I don't get it. Either way I will be fine but man this guy made me feel so special that I wanted to get to know him a little more.


I want to mention that the last conversation wasn't an ending type of conversation if that makes sense. Basically it wasn't a goodbye forever type of message like it let off on a good note that he will still contact me. I would like to also mention that I didn't do anything to upset him or anything that would make him not like me.
He hasn't been online since we last talked also!


I sent one message just saying "Hey I hope you are okay! Are you okay?
I didn't scare you off did I? 😢" but no response. I don't know if I should give up or wait because I didn't do anything wrong. The ball is pretty much in his court right now.

from an aqua in a ldr with a cancer guy: you are at the very beginning so i am not sure this will apply in your situation, but...if you really want to meet him up and build sth, get used to this...it will happen again...i couldn't tell you why, though. usually when things happen in their lives...but surely it has nothing to do with you.

it's good you wrote that message but don't send any other...it will make you look like a desperate woman.

@mz Thank you so much for responding and understanding. At this point I know that it's not but something going on his end.

He is who says he says he is as in I know his situation and how he looks as far as that. He said that he is planning to escape WV in July or sometime sooner if he gets a bit more money so it's not like far in the future.

Me messaging him was a while back just to show him I care and that his presence is missed. Let's hope he does message me back though! 🙂
