I love him, though we dont see eachother much he texts me sometimes......I feel like he is love of my life....we were in same college, he definetly was very interested in me but i didnt give him right signals then , I was too shy then

You really have nothing to lose, why are you so sad? Call him, ask him to meet you. To catch up, something like that, and then you can see for yourself are the sparks still there.
