I'm new here. Hi everyone. Does anyone know anything about a person who is born on the cusp of Cancer & Leo. I've met a man I'm very intrigued by and he was born on July 21st. I'm trying to get a little insight, through astrology, into what makes him tick. I have to tell you...my mother was born on this day and if the way she acts is any indication of what's to come with him...prepare yourself for a wild ride!
Now her being female might make a difference, but these two signs are a union of extremes...You have the sun and the moon. Could it be more opposite? Expect pride and low self-esteem in the same person. Expect him to do things for you but watch out for the reasons WHY he may have done it. Expect crazy mood swings but also FIERCE loyalty and love. Oh yeah...these people are SUPER know it alls...Cancers and Leo's are both people who like to be right so if in a trivial argument with this person...sometimes it's better to say whatever, you are right. I am a 31 year old female born on July 21st. I dont know what men are like and reading the other posts im not too happy with the stereotype that is being spread about this cusp. Maybe its where im deeply into self growth but i dont see being moody all the time and emotionally messed up. a man is going to be different than a female, probably likes the attention getting aspect of the leo, and has a sweet and caring side which comes from cancer. I am a 45 year old female born July 23rd (the cusp in anyone's astrological "book"). I am single/never married. I have often noticed by the responses I seem to elicit from other people that they definitely don't understand me. But, the reality is that I am exactly what I appear to be. I'm very domestic (cooking, sewing, love children, etc.--Cancer traits), and I have always excelled in Math (was tops in my classes when I earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering--Leo traits). A strong association with food is typical of those born on the Cancer/Leo cusp...I am an amateur gourmet with a very keen sense of taste (been known to send a message to a chef in a restaurant telling him/her what herb/spice a dish needs more/less of), and I am now considering becoming a kitchen designer (a way to incorporate my strong organizational skills with food). Unlike true Leos, I don't have a need to be in the spotlight or be the leader, but I do want to be respected and appreciated for my intelligence and for my contributions to team projects. I DO have an unbelievable memory (remember some conversations word for word from years ago). That memory is another reason that I have such diverse talents because it gives me the ability to learn just about anything. From what I read, Cancer/Leos can be moody OR they can have the Sun/Moon traits well-integrated and be very even-tempered. I am the latter...a happy, peace-loving, fair-minded, genuinely warm-hearted individual who is extremely loyal to friends and family (and would also be to a mate). I am not as gregarious as a typical Leo (but I do laugh a lot and communicate well like a Leo), and I am extremely sensitive to criticism (like a Cancer). I am generally opinionated, but I ALWAYS try to compromise (better to be happy than to be right). I RARELY lose my temper...it takes A LOT to push me to that point. Love, romance, passion, affection, and sex are VERY important to my potential relationship (Leo traits), and I CANNOT be with anyone who isn't at the top of his game in those areas. Honesty, integrity, and strength of character are other traits I possess, and I REQUIRE those in a potential mate, as well. The good news...I recently met someone through eHarmony, have been communicating for a while, and just found out that he is a Gemini (could have figured that out even if I hadn't learned his birthday). Although I have never given astrology much thought, there are too many things that are dead-on to ignore. So, I'm believing that a Leo Woman and Gemini Man can be a great combination intellectually and have fireworks in the bedroom...woo hoo!) I'm trying not to be possessive and to give him his freedom, and he seems to be VERY considerate of my feelings. He sure is a lucky guy to have found me (Leo pride :-)

I am a July 21'er! I am learning more about the cusp and recently got into getting my chart read. The duality makes more sense than any of the things I had read previously about just Cancer.
As far as relationships, my biggest obstacle is getting people to truly understand what I mean. I sometimes feel like I must be speaking another language. Things that seem so clear to me, seem to be rocket science to others. I don't think I'm moody, I just think some days I need a break. Hopes this help in your relationship!

I just found out yesterday that my co worker "cancer/leo" might have been born on July 2nd instead of the 22nd. But.. I don't really don't understand that. I think she may actually have told ME the truth about the 22nd, but wants the 2nd off from work or something. She doesn't at all match the Cancer stereotype, she too DANG HAPPY all of the time. She's not really moody! She's just annoyingly happy.

Hello... I'm a July 21st baby as well.
I often feel like I'm speaking another language to people. My one piece of advice would be to listen... listen to what your cancer/leo is REALLY saying... and if you still don't understand, ask questions. The biggest thing that drives people crazy about me is that they can't understand me, I've been told that I talk in riddles... but the best friends I've ever had (Virgo, Scorpio and Taurus) have truly taken the time to listen to the underlying point. They understand my need to express myself creatively and can hear past the words and literal translation of what I'm saying.
That's the best advice I can give here.
Secondly, we seem unhinged at times because we talk very dramatically. We are not about to fall off the deep end! We just talk emphatically.

I kinda resent astrology because it's spot-on (not particularly fond of admitting that I am A Big Contradiction). The contradictory pairing of Cancer with Leo means we come in a whole spectrum of flavors. Ie, allluv -- I feel ya. The dread of leaving home is a daily thing for me. But my Leo stamps it out and I go out and am a social butterfly. (Then there's Cancer/Leos like Chris...)

Cancer/Leos are dynamic. We bounce back and forth between personalities a lot. After doing this our whole loves, we become "skilled" at changing ourselves.
So, we are capable of great transformation. This is a curse for the Cancer/Leo who doesn't have a developed self-awareness. He/she will live an unstable, confusing life.
But being capable of transformation is a blessing for the Cancer/Leo who knows that the sky's the limit. smile
Three years ago I was a wardrobe consultant. Last year I toured around with a rock band. Today I manage a modern furniture store, am Director of Distribution for a music magazine, and do lots of graphic design. 6 months ago I started playin poker pretty hardcore; I aspire to be a pro. Who knows what I'll be tomorrow, ya know? A chef? A ballroom dancer? It's a great feeling to know I can evolve at a moment's notice. I'm happy to be a Cancer/Leo.

I, TOO, am a 32 yr old Cancer/Leo cusp. In fact, I am probably the epitome of the cusp...I was born on the night of 7/22...which puts me at Cancer but about 3 hrs away from a Leo. I feel so confused sometimes that I don't know whether I'm really Cancer or Leo.
Anyways, that's besides the point. Like the rest of you, I have a fondness of home. It's not that I don't like going out or socializing...but at the end of the day, I really enjoy being home. It just feels natural and feels comfortable.
I definitely don't like the idea of moving around too much. I like the comfort of knowing that my parents, family, friends are nearby. I'm extremely loyal (leo), quite fearless/courages when it comes to taking risks (very much leo, very NOT cancerish), highly creative, likes looking at the big picture and not get too caught up in detals...and I am quite the optimist. I believe living life means being happy and that should be the focus of our lives.
I think the one thing that us Cancer/Leo cusps need to be aware of is that we should not try to justify our actions or thoughts. Our Leo side gives us a strong sense of morales and ethics, but our Cancer side tries to justify what we do, whether right or wrong, for personal gains. It's important to be aware of what we're doing at all times and be honest with ourselves -- is what we're doing right?
Another obstacle we need to overcome is when our emotions get out of control. I have seen myself turn 1000% into a Cancer with the wild/crazy mood swings when put under certain stressful (relationship-related) situations. It took a lot of support and good advice from close friends to help me see what was happening to my life and how I changed into a moody, depressed Cancer when having to deal with the "drama". It's critical to rely on our Leo side to get us out of the storm.
If we can control your emotions, and not let our emotions control us, I think we can be invincible and accomplish almost anything in life. Our powerful Leo ambitions along with our creative Cancer sensitivity makes for an incredible combination. Just make sure you keep your ethics and morales close with you as you continue your quest to conquer the world...

I keep wanting to reject every zodiac description/explanation/theory I come across, but it's becoming increasingly difficult.
I'm a Cancer/Leo cusp, born on July 22nd, 1990, and just about everything posted here describes my overall personality.
I'm very creative, and grasp concepts very quickly.
I ocassionally have intense mood swings, going from intensely confident, to self-loathing, but I've overcome that with the help of my Scorpio girlfriend smile
I'm diplomatic, and great with meeting new people. I'm an easygoing guy, but if someone actually manages to upset me I lose control. I find it easy to manipulate people into believing I feel a certain way, when I could feel the exact opposite.
I'm competitive, but remain friendly about it. If someone is better than me at an activity I enjoy, I observe and surpass them. I don't fully trust anyone, and see through fronts people attempt to put up.
I'm not sure if physical appearance matters, but I'm 6'0 tall, I have an Athletic build, light brown eyes (people always commenting on them..), high cheekbones, and somewhat of a rounder face.
I play guitar, and I'm ridiculously passionate about it. I write material with every opportunity I get. I also write for my college's newspaper, and enjoy any other type of writing.
As far as my relationship goes, after I found out about my ex girlfriend's history of cheating on me (we dated for years, she was an aquarius), I went on an emotional rampage. I hadn't ever given someone as much trust as I'd given her, and I couldnt believe I'd allowed myself to do so.

Im dyslexic, or maybe just have dyslexic tendencies. I demand originality from my self, and the second i hear someone use my favorite joke; its in the garbage can. Texting stresses me out in a way that i can't fully understand which direction of emotion is being because there are SO many paradigms, so my texts are all littered with smilis of all kinds ??:\ . I've heard jeckel and Hyde; feels more like flapjack and captain k'nuckles. Im always looking for new original obscure arts and entertainment: movies music books games the artsier the better and rarely partake more than once (like, i have music ADD where i never finish songs). I like the idea of moving towards the greater good, but rarely find the motivation. Ladies with some sort of class and prudence are my thing, but only if i feel like the special one person they bloom for. I really have to kick my own a** todo stuff because no one else has power to do so. The only opinions and compliments i don't resist are people close to me, and if they are, it stings when they don't have nothing but nice things to say, cause i really try to do right by others to the point of fault, and only if i can escape the perils of procrastination and laziness. I feel stupid when i cry for what seems like no reason and fight it tooth and nail. My home is my castle but crazy disorganization flips off breakers in my head and things can get a little out of hand. I want to, and feel like i could, do or be anything... So many choices and jack of all trades doesn't always cut the mustard. My nickname is Macgyver cause i can make things happen with little to work with... That is if i feel like it. ... I've spread mixed messages across the eastern seaboard. Pisces are an evil torrent of emotion that will suck me in and drain me dry. I am my favorite cook and my favorite comedian, and there are plenty to agree. I play music in my head alot. Piece together scenarios and make little instant short films in my head alot. My birthday is july 21st, 1995 and I was born at noon.
Honestly, I don't think I fit some of the traits for the cancer leo cusp. For one I'm not materialistic at all. I don't need much to be happy other then to be social. I'm soooo not a home maker in any sense. Well...actually I am. I babysit and do online school while my parents work to support our family, and that's about the only home making I do. Trust me, I hate every day of it. I want to ride boxcar around the country for god sakes...this stuck at home thing doesn't fly well with me. I'm not materialistic at all! The only material posessions I really care about are the ones that connect me to people. I do fit some characteristics though, like I'm incredibly loving and loyal. I'm competitive...i love competition with a passion. I used to play call of duty until I fell asleep because I wanted to win just one more match before I finally decided to call it a night. I'm charismatic and influential, I do have my emotional ups and downs. I'm not easily hurt. I am prideful at times and more of an introvert who enjoys knowledge. I love knowing things, i spend a lot of my time learning about spirituality and reading about astrology and trying to talk to people about the things I've read. I'm fairly disorganized.
But there is a girl I have the hots for, her birthday is december 13th, making her a thorough sagittarius. I've read different things from different sites about any sort of compatabilty there. Some say there is good chemistry, others bad. what is your opinion, whoever is reading this?
