Ok been dating this cancer male 23 for 2 years. He wants a break but doesn't want me to go away?? broke up on good terms because i still love him. I am just giving him the space he needs will he come around?

I suggest you go NC for 7 days.

After the 7 day break, CALL HIM and leave a friendly voice mail saying "hey how are you" kind of stuff.

But just do it once. Do not overwhelm his system with emails/calls/texts.

Only respond according to his responses, since he is the one who threw the relationship away.

Don't give him anything that is beyond simple information, since he is the one who should be coming back to you.

Also, do you have mutual friends? Make sure that they know that you are going out this weekend. Don't hint that you are dating anyone, but make clear that you are going out with your friends to have fun this weekend. Leave the rest to his imagination.

Also, cease and desist on "I LOVE YOU" to him.

Do NOT say those words to him ever again.

Make him come to you, and PROVE that he loves you through his actions.

ONLY WHEN HE PROVES that he loves you, should you ever, ever say those words to him again.

ok thank you scorpiofish. So have done all of that. he has gone out of communication till mid march for work. so am just letting him be and do like you have said. Do you think there is a chance he will come back?
