I recently told my cancer friend that I wanted to get to know him better. He replied are you sure because I treasure our relationship (friendship), and that he felt a sense of responsibility to me and my family. I told him no matter the outcome nothing would change, and that he was definitely worth the risk. He thanked me for my response and said okay. Well after two weeks he then said that he's way too busy for a relationship right now, and that he respects me too much for anything else. He has an extremely busy law firm, and I know he's very busy. But I'm heartbroken because he's always there for me. And he always returns my calls and text the same day. I absolutely adore this man and I just don't understand this. Do you think there's any hope. This is my first time ever dealing with a cancer man.
