Cancers and air signs?

Are there any cancerians who are in a relationship with an aquarian on here??
Or love aqua's.. I dont really have much aqua in my sign.. I know its my lilth but what the hell is that?
Anyway Some say its not a good match.

I think its a great match personaly, both can be deep, think alot, aquas often enjoy a little bit of solitude, both creative, botha lil bit nutty and quirky. What does everyone else think?? Would love to know...



Also just from experience Geminis and cancerians seem to often be best friends
and libras and cancer make each other laugh
from my experience. Just wondering what other crabbies think of air signs?

I wish there was a re edit button on here.I forgot to say my x was an aqua and have a few good male aqua friends also.. Seem to gel well, is it only me or do other cancerians gel well with them too?

Ah I c this topic may have been covered already.. read a few posts.. well I guess aquas are cold n tough n cancers soft and sweet.. Maybe me and my aquas are a good match cos im a hard cold cancerian and hes a sweet soft aquarian with.. maybe who knows

I have been with two air signs for long term relationships for the last 14 years. Honestly they are A LOT of work. Air signs operate on a totally different plain that us water signs do. It's pretty simple...

Think of air and it's element. How it flows freely and easily 'goes with the flow', sort of lightly bouncing and lifting about all obstacles.

Then you've got water. We circumvent, surround, and encompass all that it within our reach; almost to a smothering degree.

It may sound dramatic. But on a lighter perspective - it makes perfect sense.

Air signs need space to live freely, to come and go as they please, and to basically live on a whim (such as an impulsive buy, or an unexpected offer too good to be true)

Us water signs have to either control - or at least be a part of - a major inertia. A sort of 'becoming'. So we tend to take on the thoughts, cares, and well being of others. We fuss over our family, our children, our lovers. We love to dote and care for, and in some many words - "surround and love" those that we love.

Sir signs are much more self centered in their thinking. They are more independent in the sense that they don't think of anyone but themselves first, all others second.

We tend to thinks the opposite.

Configure this into a relationship and you get some big issues. With Air signs so self centered (mixed with insecurity) they never tend to feel 100% worthy. So these signs (esp. men) are prone to cheat. Air signs have little sense of loyalty, thus they lack sense in morals. This means that they can act out and do what they please both for selfish and insecure reasons.

BUT. Water signs are known for this as well - but in most circumstances - after they've learned that their partner isn't to be trusted.

Water signs come with loyalty, love, and adoration. Air signs express this as well, but being the element of air... it doesn't last for long.

Not to say that either side is any better than the other. Both sides can learn from each other. The hard part is that the Air sign needs freedom and doesn't take the rules so seriously... When the Water sign has loyal love and dedication at the top of their list. Air signs love the "idea" of partnership, but can often grow easily bored with the 'same routine'. (Which, by the way, can be a Water sign's most reliable way of living) Water signs are essentially "made" not for relationships - but specifically "matrimony".
