CANCERS, WHAT MAKES YOU FALL?

I asked my dad what made him fall for my mom she??s a Pisces, he said I still love her, I??m in love with my wife (Note: It??s been 23 yrs since they??ve been divorced! But I dare you to say she is no longer his wife??_haha!). I said, okay well what made you fall for her in the beginning. He said ???She was the sweetest woman I??d ever met. I mean just sweet.?? Funny thing is, when I asked her she said??_
???He was mean! I did not like him at first. I thought he was cocky and had a jealousy streak, but then he became sweet and he wanted to take care of me. We became friends, and before I knew it I liked him more than I thought I would.lol??
Scary how I have a Pisces moon and I said I would never date someone like my dad, because to me he IS in fact MEAN and a bit of a control freak. If it??s not done the way he thinks it should be done its flat out wrong. He only shops at certain grocery stores, gets gas from certain gas stations; he only cooks with a certain type of butter (NO SUBSTITUTIONS), certain type of brand of a mop, only certain brands for every damn thing. UGH! It drives me mad. The label could say in plain black and white that they are going to do the EXACT same thing, but in his mind ???this one does it better.?? Smh. Grr. But here I am head over heels for a dude that has a birthday 2 days before his (My guy is July 5th). And already I see the similarities. -_-. lol.

when a woman is independent and she loves what she does! shes a free spirit thinker and flirts well with me. gives me something to think about. can talk about anything under the sun with me.... makes me think about her rather than the 5 easy boring chicks messaging me. :p

May I ask your opinion on something. I'm having a hard time opening up to my Cancer. I'm a leeb gale, so my way of trying to get close to someone is by charming the pants off of them. Like cracking jokes, or being really sweet. I've tried this on my Cancer like being sweet, or saying mushy things to him he says "Oh shut up." and laughs. It makes me vow never to tell him how I feel again. I feel stupid, because I really mean it when I say it. Every now and then we can joke and i'll laugh back, but mostly i'm thinking dang "Can a sista get some love back." But with him there seems to be a sort of awkwardness. Like he makes me a bit nervous. lol. When we chill together i'm comfortable, but not all the way. He touches my leg, and I get butterflies. lol. He seems like he's mean so when I want to reach out and hug him I'm afraid he might pull away and i'll feel rejected.

comfort. being able to feel comfortable around a person makes me feel extra good. I feel relaxed and at peace plus a nice hug getting physical is always a definite plus . (: honesty is another thing just as @syzygydresden pointed out if I feel I can trust you to let me in I just feel totally smitten.
That's funny cuz I kinda feel the same way. My dad is a Taurus and I do not date any Taurus because I do not want someone like my dad. Don't get me wrong...I love my dad BUT I don't want someone like him. He is soooooooo stubborn. I get along great with Taurus as friends and all but have yet to be attracted to any man of that sign thankfully.
As for as what makes me fall.....it's kindness first. Kindness ranks top for me above all other traits. I love a gentleman. Someone who treats everyone equally and respectfully no matter who they are. Someone with a good and a big heart. A sensitive person because I am extremely sensitive. I do not favor the bold and arrogant. Just a nice guy who is intelligent and creative and emotionally sensitive.
