Capricorn = Cancer's Marriage Sign

Cappys are s'posed to be compatible with Virgo and Taurus males; this is what I've been hearing and reading for years.
Just recently, however, I read that Cancer is the Marriage Sign for Capricorn, being their astrological opposite.
Have any of you Cancers here had a relationship with a Cappy or in one currently? If so, how did it turn out? Did your opposing traits enhance or hinder the relationship?
Thanks!
It is to my understanding that your best marriage partners would be those that come after or before the sign before you or the sign after you.
For example:
in order,
Pisces - bingo!
Aries (skip)
Taurus i'm taurus
Gemini (skip)
Cancer - bingo!
My best bets would be Pisces and Cancer
Here's the link.
This is great; he explains how to determine compatibility with any other sign.

Yes, you do, lol. You're awesome.
I completely respect Capricorn's sense of discipline and their hard working nature day in and day out. What I don't like about caps is that they're so serious and not very humourous. But, this is a broad generalization that I'm sure doesn't apply to all caps. It's just the ones i've met in life have been like that. My dad is a cap, and i use to know a cap girl, my take is on caps is that they take on too much work and not enuff fun.
Off of your website, I read that caps and cancers share the same trait for being great parents. I can relate to this as my dad is the most responsible parent, he is always there for me even though we barely talk. I would catch the midnight bus to come home sometimes and he would always pick me up at 6am..
I only know a male, and he is pretty funny, we get along great. I'd love to meet a girl like him.
Ewww, SICK!!!!
OFA, the #5 & #9 houses are just your trine signs. It's bascially just the other two signs in your element (ex. air, fire, earth, and WATER!!)
I'm sure there's tons on the cap board mr. crabby. Set the charm button to on mode.
It's broken, i dropped it down the stairs.
Sad
CappyChick thanks for the link...at least now I have some idea what attracted me to Gemini...they are #4 to pisces.
"Your # 4 sign represents both your own security and those you want to nurture and protect. It rules survival, food and shelter. In love and mating, you can find # 4 strangely haunting and compelling, for here you are meeting the raw power of life, the hugeness and mystery of nature, without all the social overlays and subtleties. Here the maternal instinct flowers, as do all parenting urges. Mixing these powerful urges with romantic or spousal love can provide a potent emotional brew."
I have known one couple where the guy was a cappy and the girl was cancer...it didn't last though...the guy left her for someone else.
I think it's very easy to be attracted to geminis when we are younger. They are just so out going and fun; they are never boring. I dated a gemini when I was younger. But, now that I'm a bit older, I am actually a bit turned off by their capricious nature as they can never stick to anything. They constantly need change, but life needs discipline at times.
OFA, you can't take those sites verbatim. It's just for entertainment purposes. IT doesn't mean every cancer you're going to meet is going to end up marrying you, it doesn't mean you're going to fall in love with every gemini or libra you meet. Astrology is for fun, like poker Winking. I mean it's great if you identify with you sign, but astrology is definitely not an axiom to obey.
My take on astrology is that the twelve signs is a composite of human psychology in its entirity. And, that's why everyone almost has every type of element in their chart. This is so we can always end up saying yeah I do act like a scorpio sometimes, libra at other times, cancer at this time, and et cetra...
To learn about astrology is just to learn about human natur, and the way we all behave sometimes.
Yeah, everyone of us finds some truth in it, or else we would not be here.
every *space* one of us..
OFA, you're hot.
My first great love was a Capricorn, but he didn't want me because I was poor and he was middle class...I dressed in Wal-Mart clothes and he wore clothes from the mall...We were both popular and smart, but he hung out more with the rough crowd.
Oh the sixth grade...we met! It was magic! Then his Capricorn mind wanted the girl with a certain "status" so I didn't fit the bill. Sad I still think of him from time to time...
