Crab + X = Love

Now I looked up a little bit on compatibility and I actually see a lot of cancers that are not dating their 'compatible signs' aka water/earth.I find tauruses attractive, I dated a gemini and leos before but no other sign. I wonder if we should really base compatibility on "element compatibility" .

yes Libra... I think there's one libra guy that is trying to get with me, he is inviting me to diner and occasionnally for a drink, walks me home but I was probably a bit cold.
I think aquariuses have hot men but I could not get with them because of their personality.They can turn violent and give you advices that you haven't even asked for well..not my cup of tea.

Has to do more then with the sun sign in astrology and even more to do with the persons personality. if the person happens to have a personality one likes it doesn't matter what the sun sign is. Also hasn't tom cruise and katie holmes parted ways?
