Distant little crab.

Any other cancers out there with more distant/less likely to commit moon/venus/rising placements that make them seem really contradicting?

I feel like I am constantly in this inner struggle of wanting a relationship and consistency (sun/venus in cancer) but also not wanting to have to give up my personal freedom, getting scared that i will get bored with the person once I decide that they are someone I wouldn't mind being with (which happens a lot more than it should(Gemini rising/Aqua moon), and also that lovely cancerian trait that makes us scared to commit due to us knowing how hard it is for us to detach ourselves to someone once we finally let them in.

It's hard to find someone who understands how I need them to be clingy yet distant with me.

Any other cancers with this problem? Sad

I've been happily single 7 years. I have someone but only see him like 3 times a month. He's a cancer but his Gemini Venus keeps him on constant go so he likes me not being a typical clingy crab. I will say when we're together we literally have to be touching in any way possible any body part NMW & we spend a solid 30-50 hours together then talk a lot the next 2 days but then we drift & then a week or so later we have our cling time. Part of me wishes I could move forward with a real full time relationship that develops into marriage but I'm sooooo focused on how unhappy I could possibly become idk.

SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS! See I want a stable relationship, but I am not a "stable" person. Like I can handle my own problems just fine and mentally I can get a little confused between my wants and needs but I am also good in that department, but I am never a consistent person in anyone's life. I consider myself a social drifter, a loner with a lot of friends. I'm 21, still live with my parents, and take trips to other cities alone to get away at times. I crave the affection and love of a traditional relationship, but need the boundaries and distance of an open one. I am sadly right now only drawn to air/earth predominant sign men, who I love, but I should stop trying to date and just be friends with because although they are stable minded, creative, and witty, they require too much space and solitude for themselves/their friends that drives me insane. Unless they are Taurus, but I don't typically get along with Taurus's for more than two years before the friendship dies due to both our fixed sign ways. Maybe I need to find myself another water/air person. My best friend is a sun Libra and Moon Scorpio and he and I understand each others need for space perfectly and only see each other once, max twice a week lol.

Yeah, I def understand where you're coming from. I don't desire 24/7 attention but I do like to feel "attached" or "clingy" from time to time.

I used to tangle with it alll the time, now it's an acceptance of knowing what I want and being able to communicate and adjust while staying true to my values. Relationships are a dance, not a piece of stone in place.

I find that I am happiest when I am in a relationship with someone, but I only see them once maybe twice a week. And during those times I can be all over them when we are alone(not a big one on pda), but when we go our separate ways I want complete and total space until the next time we meet. I just like knowing that if I want, I can go to one single person and get all the attention/love I crave and vice versa.

Moon Taurus /Venus Gemini I'm having the opposite problem so just going not have a relationship for a while until whatever is attracting emotional retards passes.
