Last night someone posted a new post saying" Help! I have a problem! In less than 5 minutes, someone jumped in and "asked How can I help". Made me think that perhaps all cancers have this Super Hero syndrome, and was hoping to get your feedback.
I agree with you on the insecurities, but then again, who doesn't. I think most Cancers are genuine and sincere in wanting to help. A bit misguided, but they mean well, I think. Who knows, lets hear what others feel, oops, I meant say. Damn emotional crab in me, If I could only reach him, I would ring his neck.
I just like to help people I am very nurturing. I cannot stand to see people in pain especially if I can fix it
Well there's nothing wrong with helping people. It's a blessing to help someone who genuinely need it. It's not to prove myself to anyone or to anything. Some Cancers just have this Caring nature. It can be a great quality in our life. Plus the world needs more caring/ beautiful souls. I don't mind be there for those who are close to me or if they need cheering up. It makes me feel good to know i made someone day better.
Plus i think Cancers would be great super heroes lol smile. Our shell could protect us from all enemy attacks. Then our claws will tear their tired azzes apart lol. The moon & night time will be our energy source & healer. We would be a combination of Superman & Wolverine. So Cancers don't feel bad for being a good person. People gon think what they want to
Most of us just like to help. It's the mother hen in us.
I don't know about superhero syndrome, but I have on a number of occasions acted to help.
One of them, looking back at it, could have resulted in some rather dire circumstances for me.
Dumb? No. In the same situation, I'd do the same exact thing.
I'm really trying to snap out of my "lost puppy rescue syndrome" all it does is get me crapped on. I can't help it though I love being useful. That's lame I know.
@kissmygrits it's not lame at all. If you see someone who genuinely needs help or cheering up, I say go for it. You'd be surprised what one small act of kindness can do for a persons day. In fact with the way the world is going, we need more kind sympathetic people. It's not weak whatsoever. You don't have to help everyone, but those who need it will greatly appreciate it Winking
