Do they get upset if you have an admirer?

Yesterday I was at my grandmas helping her cook, and her neighbour came round to help. He asked me to marry him, said I'm stunning and wants to have children with me. He knows I'm seeing someone but it's made him more persistent.

The guy I'm seeing is a cancer, and I'm meant to take him to meet my grandma soon. I am worried the neighbour will be around and say something (he's very direct and outspoken), and cancer guy will get uncomfortable. Should I tel him today when I see him what happened, just as passing conversation, or not mention anything at all? Some guys won't mind but I know cancers get put off by that stuff (I have venus in cancer, so does he, and I don't like when other people fancy my partner)

I wouldn't be interested in the neighbour at all, he's about 50 years old and I'm 26, and he's too direct and blunt for my liking. It's a weird situation because his son fancies my cousin and so they are around a lot.

The cancer guy I met two months ago, so very new, but he's said he's in love with me and I said it back. He's met my brother and he wants me to meet his friends.

In general they don't like to know about other guys who are interested do they?

The thing is. If you tell him about this guy right now, he will feel uncomfortable going to your grandmothers house before he even arrives. He will get jealous and won’t be thrilled to meet this guy.

So that’s why it’s best not to tell him in my opinion.

If the old man says something, be prepared with a joke or something witty. Like if he says you’re beautiful- say my boyfriend is a lucky man then give him a hug. Make ur boyfriend feel secure.

Tell you boyfriend but laugh about it.

"This cute little old man said the funniest thing to me. Granny and I were busting a gut laughing about it".

Turn it into a joke.
